REBA MCENTIRE APPEARS ON WJLS 99.5 THE BIG DAWG

Reba McEntire’s next stop on her radio promotion blitz was on 99.5 The Big Dawg. The singer appeared on the Yard Dawg’s show. One that she herself has listened to on more than one occasion while in West Virginia and as with other segments that Reba has done, the show opened with her latest single, “Tears of Yesterday” being broadcast on the airwaves.
YD: Reba McEntire. Damn girl, you’re looking good. We are so honored to have you on our show today.
RM: It is great to be here, Yard Dawg!
YD: You can just call me Dawg if you’d like.
RM: Okay Dawg. [laughs]
YD: Ryan Tedder is best known for his pop work. But your new single, “Tears of Yesterday” is straight up country pop. Were you blown away?
RM: I was surprised when I was offered the song. Then I found out it was written by Ryan Tedder and I let him produce the song. He is such a professional I decided to let him produce my entire album. The experience was phenomenal. Really, I couldn’t be more impressed with the work he has done.
YD: So the new album is called, “Suffocating Memories”? Is that a song on the album?
RM: Yes, it is. I haven’t talked much about the song, but it is a power ballad. Really, I worked my vocals hard on it. I think the result is incredible.
YD: I can’t wait to hear it.
RM: Soon, I promise.
YD: How soon?
RM: It comes out next week with the album!
YD: I honestly, cannot wait to hear it. Listeners, please take a moment to download the new single from Reba, “Tears of Yesterday”. Then, be sure to pick up a copy of “Suffocating Memories” next week!

Taylor & Zendaya perform at the ARIA Awards

It's been a busy week for Taylor Swift and Zendaya Coleman who've been all over the world promoting 'Gunshots'- a song that has taken off all over the world for Miss Swift and Miss Coleman. A global hit is nothing rare to America's Sweetheart Taylor Swift but it's become a first time thing for Zendaya Coleman who has only experienced mild success, for example with her debut single 'Replay' which managed to sell two million copies worldwide. Unfortunately her debut album wasn't met with such a warm response as 'Replay' and probably has sold about two hundred thousand records worldwide at the most (being generous). But Zendaya is determined to change the fate of her sophomore record as she's been promoting and hyping 'Gunshots'. And a A list collaborator like Taylor Swift will only help the album's anticipation. The two girls have been all over the place promoting the urban dominated song. From morning shows like Good Morning America, The Today Show, Michael & Kelly, and The Views, the girls have made sure people of all audiences were aware of the song and how good it really is. The song's been a hit with the critics and seems to be doing the same commercially. The two girls were live in America most of this week but the two girls flew out to Australia this morning where they would perform at the ARIA Awards (Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards), an award show that honors musicians success in Australia. Taylor Swift has had great succession Australia scoring number one debuts with almost all her albums in the country. The girls were introduced to the stage by none other than Justin Bieber who's known to be a long time friend to Taylor Swift. "Please welcome to the stage one of my close friends Taylor Swift and talented R&B sistren, Zendaya!" The stage then went dark as a red strobe light flashed over the stage to the beat of 'Gunshots'. A synth began to buzz until pyro set off and Taylor and Zendaya popped from the bottom of the stage wearing the same outfit and styled similarly. The girls wore a white undershirt (Taylor's was cut serving more as a crop top than a white undershirt) with some denim shorts that were cut custom wise for the two girls revealing some of their thighs. Tied around their waists were plain red shirts. They finished off their look with some red spiked heels by Louboutins. Their hair was straightened as the girls served urban girl group teas with their look. They had rhinestoned microphones in their hands as they began doing some raw choreography, serving true girl group teas. They sounded great as the girls worked the stage along without any dancers or major production. During the bridge the girls broke down in a routine that involved them strutting around and hitting some poses that sort of went in sync with the the arrangement. The song boosted the song in to the top three on Australia iTunes and helped Taylor Swift maintain her EP's lead at #1 in Australia.

REBA MCENTIRE APPEARS ON WQBE 97.5 FM

Reba took to another radio station today as part of her promotional radio blitz to promote her new single, “Tears of Yesterday”. The singer has really been working hard to get the word out about the new song and to ensure that she has the ability to maximize the impact she has on the charts this week.
Radio personality Coyote Jack had the honor of interviewing her.
Prior to the interview, Coyote Jack played Reba’s latest single, “Tears of Yesterday”. As the song faded out he introduced the red headed Grammy winner.
CJ: How are you Reba?
RM: I am great Jack! How are you doing?
CJ: Well, thank you. I have to admit your new single is incredible infectious. I sing it out loud each time I get to play it.
RM: I am honored!
CJ: You just make sure you keep making good music that plays well on the radio. I need new Reba all the time. No more of this four year between album stuff.
RM: I could pull a Shania and go a decade.
CJ: We would go insane. Radio needs you, Reba.
RM: [laughs] I have missed making music. I am actually glad Ryan Tedder approached me with “Tears of Yesterday”. It gave me the motivation to hit the studio ago.
CJ: Was it like riding a bicycle getting back in there?
RM: It really was. I am honestly blessed to have had such an amazing career. Did you know almost all of my albums have been certified either gold, platinum or multi platinum.
CJ: I did! Not surprised though to be honest. Your albums are incredible. So much raw emotion in your vocals. There aren’t many legends like you.
RM: I appreciate you saying that.
CJ: My pleasure. Are there any surprises in store for your new album?
RM: I duet with a couple of people who are going to come as a shock to most people.
CJ: But are the duets incredible?
RM: You better believe they are.
CJ: Give me a hint!
RM: Marilyn Manson appears on a track.
CJ: You just blew my mind.
RM: There’s some incredible songs on there. People will need to hear them next week when the new album, “Suffocated Memories” comes out.
CJ: You can count on me buying a copy.
RM: You are too kind.
CJ: Listeners, please take a moment to download Reba’s new single, “Tears of Yesterday” Next week, her new album drops! You won’t want to miss it!

“Tears of Yesterday” opened up the segment with her latest song hitting the air waves before fading and the pair starting the conversation.
WO: Reba McEntire, looking stunning as always. Thanks for dropping by our studio.
RM: It is a pleasure, William. I love New York!
WO: Hell yeah, that’s why you’re our favorite red head.
RM: Thanks!
WO: Now, talk to me about your new single, “Tears of Yesterday”
RM: It’s a fun summer song written by Ryan Tedder. He also happens to be the individual who produced my album.
WO: Very nice. So, was it as much fun to sing in the studio as it has been to sing live?

WO: It sounds impressive. Will fans think, wow good old fashioned Reba or is this is a new venture.
RM: We worked hard to create a perfect balance of the old sound and made them current to appeal to a wide audience.
WO: Sounds interesting, I’ll have to pick up a copy next week when it comes out.
RM: I hope you love it!
WO: I am sure I will. Reba, as you know we fly through guests on this show. But I do want to thank you for your time and want to remind listeners to download the latest single from Reba, “Tears of Yesterday” on iTunes now and stay tuned for more info.

ECHO Awards Performance

The Echo Awards held in Europe have always been infamous for their wide range of performers and it was no different this year as artists like Jessie J, Sam Smith, and Arcade Fire performed. This year there were even less popular acts performing such as Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and even Rita Ora. But the performance that was the most popular with the crowd and got people around the globe talking was by R&B princess Zendaya and American Icon Taylor Swift. The two performed their collaboration 'Gunshots' together. The song was originally written by Brian Soko and Micahel L. Williams II, along with a production credit from legendary producer Mike Will Made It. It wasn't until Taylor Swift decided to contact Zendaya that the remix version featuring Taylor Swift came along. Both girls have spoke about the experience saying it was absolutely incredible working with each other and that the studio session was "free spirited" (we assume they got high but we can't be too sure as Zendaya is underage and we can be sued for making such statements about the stars. But perhaps that could be why that video footage the two girls have of the recording session hasn't been leaked yet? Hm?). Swift then go a writing credit as she re-wrote the entirety of the chorus and even replaced the bridge. We are told that with the cuts Soko could be cut from royalties but Taylor insisted that he'd remain. A true humanitarian. The girls were the third act to perform as they took to the stage in two black dresses designed by Elie Saab. The performance was stripped down to a piano arrangement the two girls beginning to sing as their hairs were styled to pull off the look. The screens behind them shoed visuals as the two girls vibes and sang the song. Their vocals were gorgeous until the two sort of went off key during the second verse due probably to jet lag or something. They managed to pull it off though, the two girls have some problems with their microphones and because of that the two skipped the ad-libs that they usually do on the last chorus of the song with ever performance. Despite that the two girls managed to give a great performance. Taylor Swift managed to take some awards home that night as well, many for her album 'Coven 13'.

Rihanna performs "Juicy Cakes" on So You Think You Can Dance

Yesterday to promote her new album & single “Juicy Cakes” Rihanna went to perform on a show called So You Think You Can Dance. She focused more on dancing than on vocals while performing on this show, cause well this show is about dancing, so Rihanna wanted to show everybody her dance moves, and her stage swagger, cause she really got it, even the judges said that, and people in crowd, because Rihanna danced very well, and no one could’ve thought that she is not a professional dancer, even tho she goes to dance lessons, dance lessons come to her tho at her house, yacht or private jet. Because well Rihanna is a rich bisch. Brandy didn’t join Rihanna on stage, because she’s buzzy.
The performance started with Rihanna coming out of smoke and then smoke disappeared lots of flash lights kicked in, and neon lights, it looked very effectful and some people in audience had to cover their eyes, because it was that sparkly and shiny. Rihanna took the mic, and started singing while dancing back to back with this one guy, hot guy, Rihanna’s type of guy.
The performance continued with guy picking up Rihanna and kissing her on ha lips, that’s when backgrounds and bobble head appeared, a background with lots of lips and smoke appeared on stage, and lips kept changing colors, and neon lights were shining everywhere, then people with glow sticks came on stage and started jumping.
Music stopped, Rihanna raised her hand and everybody stoned, audience started clapping, but then Rihanna started to snap her fingers, all dancers behind her started to whistle, a huge ball like gigantic was rolled from smoke into stage, on the ball there was Brandy’s face, that laughing one, it rolled around the stage while Rihanna was doing insane choreo with more than 50 dancers, everything stopped again, Rihanna looked into the camera, and dropped her jacket, she came to the guy, and bended him on his knees, she then took put a leech around his neck and walked him around the stage like puppy, then she got closer to his lips, and kissed him. The performance ended with them kissing.

REBA SITS DOWN WITH A GLASS OF WINE AS PROMO FOR THE WEEK WRAPS UP

Reba McEntire’s week has been an insane one. She’s done endless amounts of promo and has finished up her contractual 30 appearances. Sitting down with a glass of wine and announced on social media she was going to do air a live video.
“I just wanted to thank each of you for following me all week.” Reba said on the video cast. “All of you are so important to me and I thank each of you for downloading my current single, “Tears of Yesterday”. Next week is also going to be promotion heavy. But I promise you, we are going to achieve some incredible results. I make the music for you guys and I just want to make sure y’all know it is out there and that you are loving it. So keep tweeting me and letting me know what you think.”
With that, the camera pulled back and Reba quickly downed the wine and joined her band for a live version of her song, “Tears of Yesterday”. After the performance she waived at her fans and the feed went black. However, a copy of the video did end up on her VEVO account.
