nnn sorry I was just trying to say that the two albums may be released close to each other but that she could very well just devote more time to promote R8 than the HOME album, meaning she will perform more for the R8 singles and such. In other words, that this HOME album may not be her main focus at all; Dreamworks could focus on that and Rih/her team on R8.

- It will receive promotion at the Brits + Billboard Music Awards later on this year, further promo through single releases and music videos. The album will likely end up selling at least 3 million WW. It peaks at #1 in the US but only in It's 2nd week since the record is released on a sunday following the pattern of FourFiveSeconds.

Monday, either March 23 or 30 - commercial release of HOME with announcement and all
- Mainly Promoted by Dreamworks, billboards, TV commercials and prolly Rihannas twitter feed. Gold certification in the US by the end of the year. likely to hit #1 as well.

Idgi, why she released the single for R8 in January when Home comes in March, the OP plans or whoever had the idea back in the day for a summer release last year and the single for Home in January was brilliant. She scrapped it and at least she could have promoted, but again everyday new covers. Call it promo.

Y'all seem to forget that HOME is a soundtrack. Y'all can't even compare this situation with JT's "The 20/20 Experience". R8 is Rihanna's new studio album and HOME will be labelled as a Rihanna studio album only because every song will likely be performed by Rihanna. But it's still just a soundtrack.

The GP will see R8 as Rihanna's new album and they'll see HOME as the movie's soundtrack, performed by Rihanna. It's as simple as that.
