1. There is no difference.
2. 'Fun' and 'funny' are not interchangeable. I have no idea what your native language is, but when you say something is 'fun' you're saying it makes you happy, makes for a good time, etc. When something is 'funny,' it's amusing. They're quite similar, because something 'funny' also generally puts one in a good mood. But you would not describe a party as 'funny' because parties are not meant to be amusing in the funny sense. They're meant to be amusing in the fun sense. You just have to accept it, there is no logic to it.
'Funnier' is an extension of 'funny,' not 'fun,' so no you cannot say that in place of 'more fun.'
