She has always been a bitch to Taylor since Day 1. Old news tbh. But lately, she's going harder that the usual.
Some examples:
2011: "She has her own brand of pop-country music and has her own fan base. [But] I’m not the kind of person that, if you make me mad, I’m going to write a song about you later."
Then few days ago: "I'm not the type of person who will do freaky stuff at 3 am just to get inspired."
Today: ''Our songs are definitely different. She sings a little bit lighter sometimes and it's just a difference in our brand of country.'' ... "For me it's more exciting than anything if somebody likes me and start listening to country music over other all those other artists." ... ''People want so much 'real country music', but for me it's cool that we can bring more people into country music by being different.''
Too lazy to put the older quotes here.
The pop/country singer/songwriter has always been Taylor's home. Wonder why Carrie bothered to poke fun at it. Also, we all know that Taylor rarely sleeps under 1am, and most of her songs were written at 2 am. Oh Carrie.
I never knew that I've lost a bit respect for Carrie now...
Can we all discuss what we want out of the lead single? I'd prefer it to be not about love, but about being independent and fine on her own. I Want it to be VERY country, with very clever lyrics, and of course, catchy and cute! Alot like a place in this world

YES PLEASE! And after listening to the new Fiona, I think I've set the bar too high now, I need it the lead single to be like "Every Single Night". I want LP4 to be a mix of Fiona/Lykke, but still Country.

She has had like 1,5 years to write about that. So maybe...
Country sound preferably, but catchy pop-song would be cool as well.
I think I started volunteering when I was 12. Both my grandparents came down with cancer, so I spent every day over the course of probably six months in the hospital after school. I would bring my guitar to school and take it to the hospital after school and play music for them. I found that when I was playing music for my grandparents, it seemed like it distracted them from the pain for that three and a-half minutes. So I would start walking up and down the halls of the hospital and play for anybody in the oncology ward who wanted to hear music. I saw a lot of things and was touched because I played for people literally while they were getting their chemo.
