You know the album is coming when there's a lot of "demos" released on youtube.
But the fact is that most of them are "in hope Rihanna will see them". I don't think we ever had a chance to get an actual, real, confirmed demo. Just remember how was it with Loud era. Plenty of songs. Lot of buzz. None of Rihanna. I'm still laughting at that Mario's song (Emergency something?) everyone were saying IT IS Rihanna. But it never was.
Just look how it worked with that dutch red hair.... what was her name? The song was "leaked" on youtube as rumoured Rihanna + Lady Gaga song. Perfect promo for a new comer. The song was catchy, made enough buzz for the singer to arise. That's how it works. They want to fool you on purpose. But all these demos are missing an important thing - Rihanna's voice! So they are not interesting. I prefer to not listen to what MIGHT be a song for Rihanna and start to wonder what the next album will be like. I am sure I won't be dissapointed.
Emergency Room is amazing, even though I know it isn't Rihanna. And the dutch singer is Eva Simons. I honestly had one of my exfriends telling me how Eva's song was Rihanna and Lady GaGa just because the download site said so. She even started raising her voice in an agressive tone to try and prove she was right.
I also had another person at school telling me "You can clearly hear when Rihanna is singing, its so different to GaGa's bit!" Clearly, considering Rih and GaGa aren't even in the song.
Pretty much everything you said is pretty true, although it is really fun to just have some fun and try to imagine what ideal demos are going to make the album.
GERRRRLS, The Queen tweeted Ms.Priscilla this morning saying Happy Birthday.
Ms.Renea sings on the demo of NY Days, LA Nights.
Get what i'm saying?
Rihanna better work her magic on NY Days LA Nights if it is to become an album track. Or atleast put something epic into it. It is so bland right now. But we have only heard the demo, and I have some faith that Rihanna changed it up a bit.
