And this comes after the whole Stefan being locked in a safe underwater thing and after the whole secret society at Elena's college thing, and after Damon got captured by them. All things from Buffy/Angel.

It's like TVD took every major event from Buffy and Angel and tossed them in a hat. Every few episodes they need to have something happen, so into the hat they reach. By the end of this season, we'll probably see someone have vaguely incestuous sex and get pregnant and give birth to an apocalyptic god, while in the meantime, someone else comes down with an abrupt case of Suddenly Sibling.

I'm here for it, though. They're pulling it off without the show being a mess. These things feel more like homages than rip-offs. That last episode was amazeballs, thank GOD they didn't kill Katherine.

Am i missing something, since last week (EP 100): Katherine was approaching "Bonnie" to die, and she said she was not ready to die, as all supernatural do, but since Katherine was "dead" she did not pass through, shouldn't Bonnie & Co. realized that something was up?

maybe Bonnie tought that Katherine doesn't want to go on other side so Kath is like stuck in the middle,which would not be surprising to anyone in scooby gang.but you gotta remind yourself there was no Bonnie and jeremy in this episode

you give Buffy/Angel way too much credit here.you know that Buffy ripped off a LOT from Xena and some earlier shows before Buffy right ? Xena is THE ORIGINAL about the body switch ( Callisto /Xena )

I loved Katherine hoping Matt would say Elena preferred Caroline between Caroline and Bonnie. It's ironic how much she seems to enjoy Caroline seeing as she's the one who murdered her and caused her to become a vampire. And was I imagining things or were the writers' hinting at Stefan/Caroline at the end there with their scene immediately following Nadia's saying she felt sorry for the person who would get in the way of Katherine's getting Stefan back. Interesting…

Stef and Caroline work very cute as BFFS but nothing more.they would completely ruin it if they became a couple.and especially bcs it would be THE SECOND ass time that Caroline would be with Elena's ex,and Stef is still in love with her BF.like guy and a girl can be just FRIENDS.

Julie Plec is a fanservice queen, she'll OFF Katherine by the end of the season, I'll rage quit tho, I'm only here for the queen.
