I don't want Mike to win. He's not that smart. He handled the auction badly, he handled outing the final 4 alliance horribly. He's good TV, but a mediocre player. If he had given Shirin the idol to wear during tribal (not use) I'm sure people would've changed their votes, but because he's so full of himself, he kept it and people (except Will of course) knew he was bluffing. He doesn't deserve it..
I'm pretty sure that had he given the idol to Shirin, the idol would have become her possession, so she could have used it (or went home with the idol). Of course they could had agreed on something like "i give you the idol but don't use it, just return it to me", and Shirin looks like an honest player, but who could have reassured Mike about that?

I don't think so. I'm pretty sure that when Jeff asks if anybody wants to use and immunity idol before reading the votes, the person with the Idol can do whatever they want, including giving the idol to someone else. In this case Shirin could've taken the opportunity to give it back and then Mike can choose to use it or not. It was just a matter of Shirin wearing it during tribal and forcing the others to scramble like it happened in Caramoan when Malcolm had an idol for himself and Eddie. Phillip ended up going home. And yes, I get that Mike cannot completely trust Shirin would give it back, but my point is, Mike is not willing to make smart plays for fear of backfiring on him. I would've trusted Shirin, it's still "6 vs 1" and had Shirin stayed, Dan would still know it's him on the outs and then maybe they would've been able to turn things around with Dan's double vote, forcing Sierra to turn on the others.
Had Shirin stayed, there would be no Dan, as on revote they would've probably get rid of him without even blinking.
Malcolm done pretty much the worst he could - yeah, they three were safe that night, but after that, they were still in minority, they got rid of the one castaway that wouldn't win in any scenario (what was even the point of announcing they're voting for Phillip, if they've kept it secret, they at least could've find out who's on the bottom and gets some votes, ala Dan this week. God, "three Amigos" is one of the worst groups ever. ), they had no HII, and after that they still went home back to back.
Mike is now guaranteed at least one tribal of safety, and in the meantime, cracks that his move created can rip apart that six. There's no way they wouldn't have voted for Shirin - (WIll/Tyler already chickened out by voting Dan), Carolyn had an idol she could play if Mike's one got played so she just voted for her, Dan is dumb and I don't think he even got what was going on so he also just went with the plan and Rodney/Sierra's safest bet was vote Shirin - if she doesn't play HII, good, if she does, either Tyler goes, nothing too much since they already know he's a threat, or Dan.
Next tribal should be *very* interesting with the two HIIs and double vote, there are so many possible scenarios with vote-splitting, playing those idols or vote doubler.

I think Tyler would've been gone if everyone switched votes though.
Carolyn, Will, Tyler and Rodney vote out Dan.
Mike, Shirin, Sierra and Dan vote out Tyler. With Dan's two votes it would've been 5-4.
Now they're 4 against 3 which are way better odds than 6 vs 1 where you don't know where they stand. Dan and Sierra are too stupid to see this though. Also, I'm not saying Malcolm played it well, I actually agree with you. I'm just saying that if Mike's real intentions were to save Shirin, she sould've done more. Either way, yes, next episode will be interesting now that Dan know he's at the bottom.
FYI Shirin said that Sierra wanted to join, but in the end, she didn't because she wanted to come over with one other person, so that there would be better numbers
Hi guys! I am helping host a Survivor game right now, and we are accepting applications to play! Let me know in this thread or on my wall/PM if you want to play! I will send you the info from there. It will be a lot of fun!
Updated list:
ticks - on
without tick - unsure
out - out.
Seeing as s30 females are two of Jenn/Hali/Shirin, they both need to get in, Joe, too. I don't even care that they're from this, last season, majority of the poll SUCKS.

Why is Natalie Bolton always paid dust by producers? Was she hated in her season by them?
I remain baffled that people can have any opinion at all on John Cody let alone a positive one. Lust aside, I mean. And even then... meh.
Lowkey over this season. The outcome is obvious and the edit is a joke. Jeff and Max/Shirin their post-game comments and insatiable thirst for attention ruined it. Someone jump them at finale.
31 better slay, though that ain't likely with that roster. Could we get a few more dull male strategy bots, please, you can only just about fill half a cast with those there already.
I'm not looking forward to the return of Spenshit.
I'm still confused how the hell Kelly of all people is a possibility to come back…bring back So and let ha redeem herself instead
I think you're talking about Kelley Wentworth, but with her, I saw that she had a lot of potential, especially if you check out her post-show interviews
Fell a bit behind due to work and being fed up with how the season was going, but I'm catching up now. Just watched Hali get sent packing and I am rejoicing now. Maybe the season will start to turn around. Praying Jenn and Joe go next. 3 more eps to catch up on.
I love tribals where I can sit back and not care who out of the people on the chopping block wind up going. Joe or Jenn? They both suck, don't care. I love how only two episodes after Jenn was gloating with Hali as the votes for her were nullified, she's turned into a whiny baby who's talking about quitting. So gross. What a loser. Bye, then. Rodney may be a bit of a douche, but he's very entertaining and that impression of Mike was fantabulous. I much prefer having him on my screen than someone like Jenn who just bitches and moans while not exhibiting an ounce of class or likability.
This episode is so great so far, the bickering between every combo of players, the auction twists, and after the immunity challenge, heading into the pre-tribal segment of the show, I didn't even know who would be targeted. And then when the strategising started, the groups were a cluster****. Since when are Mike/Jenn/Shirin a group by themselves? Craziness. Plus this is like the first episode ever that I'm not wishing with the intensity of a thousand suns that Jenn would die.
Will is such a piece of **** for what he said to Shirin. Thank GOD she didn't let him get his letter. He really outed himself at tribal as the biggest piece of garbage in a season of trash.
