People here never learn when it comes to Katy Perry.

She has never been one to rush to climb up the charts. Ever.
People do realize when Part of Me was released and performed the night of the Grammy's it did not hit #1 until about 24 hours after. By 7 AM EST when Roar was released it was at #5 and did not even touch #1 until another 3 hours later (10 AM EST). And to think Roar had about 10x more hype then this surprise release.

So I'm going to sit back and continue to watch the doubting from people that have no knowledge of Katy Perry's previous chart trends

I don't think there's much doubt from Britney fans that Katy will switch spots to #1 with her come morning when the GP wake up.

We're just happy that Britney has smashed the chart and taken such a big #1 lead after this site has consistently claimed she is over after the BJ era and she is proving the haters wrong.

...if anything I feel like other stanbases are hoping Katy won't reach the top spot more than the Army.
