That's all in their debut era. After EXO's debut and they were able to garner a fanbase they debuted Top 3 on Melon and did decently. Can't say the same for NCT now can we?
Now you can say "EXO's comeback was after a year!! NCT has just had a few months!" but that logic doesn't work with rookie groups. Taking longer to comeback usually loses interest in a new group (especially since EXO did 0 variety shows during their debut era) I mean take a look at Winner
. EXO just has the "it" factor that NCT lacks. The entire concept of NCT is so bad and not suited for kpop. Who wants to stan a group with rotating members? Not only that but your main promoted member is one who has an awful past.
It's SO nice to see NCT struggling to make Top 50 on melon. Maybe in scammer's next life he'll actually be a decent person.
