After School's snippets are okay and the album will probably be better than I'm expecting in full, although I can't help but notice how much the choruses lack from what we've heard. "Shh" is a really awesome track until she she she she she shecret love comes barging through and the same goes for the first few songs in the snippets. Awesome verses and a chorus that disrupts everything.
Hyomin's debut will be based on "2014 version of 10 minutes". The song "10 minutes" was sung by Lee Hyori in 2004. It is filled with hip-hop bass and encompasses both the beat and warm melody. Lee Hyori was able to make the leap to soloist from her role as Fin.K.L leader due to this song. Hyomin's transformation using this "2014 10 minutes" will be filled with anticipation.
She's never really impressed me before but this is great. Reminds me of great blog pop. Like when Lykke Li first came out.
I love her mini album but I'm glad she's experimenting with her sound because this new direction is great. Hoping she releases a new mini with more songs like this it reminds me of Purity Ring.
