Karlos, Britney is always ready to perform in VMA. That was just less good since she wasn't in her best but she is ready, I know it. But I think she could care less about it right now lmao

I'm not gonna quote to all of those who replied to my VMA comment so yeah..
I don't think she's ready because people are expecting the old Britney, like the IAS4U, OIDIA Britney.. and i don't know if she has those skills back yet. I don't think she's on the performance level she used to be. And if she does a performance like the GMA, X-Factor ones and all of those shows... she will get **** from the press around the world. And that would just take us back to 2007. We don't want that right?

Yeah, but she has really gotten into shape and is getting her performing skills back.
No one can expect her to perform as she did at her prime, it's pretty much impossible.
But I'd say her performance skills now are 75% of the ones she had during the "Oops", "Dream" and "Onyx" tours.

Explain to me why is it impossible? Because me as a fan.. i'm expecting her to perform her ass off like she used to do.

She really had no problems back then.
Now she's a mother, she doesn't have as much as time as she had before for rehearsals.
And plus, she's had two kids, you can't expect her to be in the shape she was as a teenager.

Getting back in shape is not that hard if u want to, and she has to want to because this is her career, i just think sometimes she's lazy as ****, if u watch her tour videos closely you can see that is just laziness. That's why it bothers me.

It wasn't even that bad as some say though. 
And yes, she's lazier then she was before, but I'm glad she's happy now and I'd still go to see her at a concert every day.
Hope she gets into even better shape before the next era.

She's lazier because she's an icon and she doesn't need to work her ass off to get some attention, she already has her own spotlight.

That's what's important to me.. her being happy. But she should work her ass off at least in SOME performances. For example, if she does a VMA performance, she has to work hard on a great choreo and stuff.

I agree with both of you.
And I highly agree with Karlos, if she does an VMA performance, she need to work her but off for a smokin' hot choreography and I think she will if she does the VMA's this year, and I think not even herself or Jive would let her on stage without a amazing performance prepared after the 2007's hiatus.

So true, she still does good perfomances but the last I saw an EPIC perfomance by her was in ITZ era. I miss those perfomances so much.

That's not a reason to be lazy though. At least not at age 28. But at the same time I don't think we should worry ourselves over it anymore--she will perform up to higher standards if she wants to. If not, well, tough. She still puts out some of the world's best pop music.

I know, but still. You see Madonna working the same way than before? obviously not, not just because she's older, it's because she's already a huge icon, same as Britney. They're pretty confident about theirselves, of course, Britney still makes amazing music, but she doesn't promote and perform as much as before.

But Madonna is not making the music that is like 80% worse than her earlier work.
She needs to do that to stay relevant.
