I have returned from banland. Once again.
And this past month I have been following this thread. The meltdowns, the draggings.. and I just wanted to say this:
I think we just need to accept that the song peaked and yes, has flopped. But who cares? Remember that this is her first flop. All of her other singles went to the top 10. C'mon didn't, but does that mean she suddenly isn't 'relevant' anymore, or the rest of the era will flop? Hell to tha no. BBB didn't do that wel either but the other two singles did slay. And this album has way more potential hits than animal. Stop saying you are praying for the rest of the era, she will not flop. C'mon wasn't a good single choice at the beginning. It sounds just as her previous work, and still has this 'yolo' and partying vibe which I could understand, is tiring for the GP. She needs to release an indie pop song which are in right now. So my choice for the 3rd single will be Last Goodbye, Thinking of You or OWDWY. NOT crazy kids. I love it and it is one of my favorites, but we can't have the 3 first singles be DY-Cmon-CK. The instrumental of Crazy kids basically sounds the same as Die Young, it also has the partying vibe and C'mon sounds, as I said as her previous work so those three singles isn't gonna work out, and at that point I really think Crazy Kids will flop. They could release it as a 4th single though. And Supernatural as fifth.
That is all I've got to say except I've really missed you guys and I'm glad to be back in the game. Gonna try to stay some longer now.
