You people are so dumb, especially that yonka fan. Rihanna's last album held up really nicely on the charts just because of two songs, SOS and Unfaithful. Her last album had longevity and went platinum.
First off Good Girl Gone Bad is her biggest opening ever which is already a good start and she's going to have hit after hit with this. Its going to end up a big seller. Look at Fergie, her album debuted with like 150k and she's outselling people who debuted way higher (Christina) and she's already double platinum. The album is going to have longevity.
Besides, this album is going to be worldwide smash, she's #1 in the UK so overall she's doign amazing

I'm not mad. You're the one who keeps saying Rihanna is a flop so maybe you should recheck that whole "i'm smarter" thing because its far from a flop.

GOOD GIRL GONE BAD
DAMN .... Now I know where she got her album title from
|
In other words (because I know how hard it is for you to understand regular English), for her to have the #1 song her album was doing bad I actually like the CD too bad only 162,168 other people liked it

WOW! Thats soo close! Hahaha...crazy! Too bad the fiigures are so low. For a smash hit like Rihanna and T-Pain both have on their albums, you'd think more people would have a little faith in their ability to compile a legitimate album, but apparently not.

That's like what happened to Chris Brown, "Run It" was #1, but his album didn't hit #1.

If she not make it this week , Im pretty sure, that its just about time..........
I think people dont trust on a FULL GREAT CD from her ( this because the last two :S) , but they just have to listen it more....so I think with time it could be like "Some Hearts" is now ........( but not that good)

Its one thing to have faith in the CD...its another thing to compare it to the best selling album out right now. This CD wont even come close to Some Hearts success. That CD is selling like hotcakes because of several reasons, none of which apply to Rihanna. The album has crossover appeal, country to pop, has the AI following, HUGE!!, is highly critically acclaimed, Riri has had mixed responses at best. I personally, cant believe I am saying this, like the album. But it wont come close to Some Hearts success. Hell, it wont touch JT or Beyonce either. The proof of that is she isnt going to have a hit on that album bigger than Umbrella and if that wasnt enough to get people out for a large debut, nothing will change over the course of time to encourage them.

The difference is he was a NEW artist. He didnt have loyal fans. Homegirl is on her third album. If she doesnt have the buildup yet to capitalize on a #1 hit and turn it into a,bum sales, there is a problem. Hell, Beyonce had 2 unsuccessful lead off singles and still wiped the floor with Rihannas numbers. Do your girl a favor and come up with some better comparisons, IE not against rookie artists....

My point wasnt the sales, I was talking about the longevity....whatever.....I also wrote "not that good"......and yeah, the two albums cant be compare, I have "Some Hearts" and I can say its a masterpiece..............anyways GGGB count with all my support!!
I better edit my comment, to avoid another missunderstoods.......
PD: I believe this album is more than one - hit maker, it has various hits inside, lets time tell us whats gonna happen.......

Avril has stayed at 50 thousand copies the last 3 weeks, and i think it will only rise with her new single (and another hit) about to be released.

Dang T-Pain was nearly #1 why does it seem like T-Pain and Akon are becoming really popular artists like how Justin Timberlake and Usher are? Not to mention T-Pain has another upcoming #1 with Bartender with Akon.
