I actually really want the tracklist change on the CD. Alternate tracklists are really fun.

I think her team is smart enough to not release the 4-5 hits the album has (as someone said) as promo singles. And I hope that these songs are really sure-fire hits.

That wouldn't be such a bad thing honestly. Brit hasn't been an album artist in 15 years. There wouldn't be much of an issue if they were releasing the potential hits as grats - since then most would be more likely to check the whole album.

But I also understand the idea of keeping the hits for future release. Though, does it really matter - all 17 songs will be on sale in a few days lol.

I agree with what I saw someone else say. These instant tracks aren't necessarily the "best" songs on the album. They represent more the Out From Unders, Mannequins, Seal It With a Kiss etc. They are saving the bigger ones like Just Love Me, Liar, Invitation and the Julia/Justin tracks!

Keeping the hits and releasing them during the album release will help them determine which of it the GP likes the most. (e.g. Blank Space topped the iTunes during the release followed by Style. Then BS became the second single.) Its a good indicator for choosing the second single and it'll generate buzz through word of mouth. Plus which songs will linger in the top 100 after the first week of release ala I Wanna Go.
