I think part of it was that the video was clearly low-budget, and didnt really have over-the-top ideas, but was still worth watching/interesting.
Gotta give props to Rihanna for pulling that off.
The editing was cool at some parts too.

The bad thing about Katy stans is that their young girls who have no concept of music and all they know is Katy and they think she's more than she is. Their young, naive brains no nothing but the cheap **** Katy gives them.
