Well ARTPOP as it is....yeah it would have been a disaster. The material would have to be completely different. Gaga hyped up ARTPOP as though it would be a game changer, and it was not. I enjoy the album nonetheless, but the most artistic thing about it is the cover - which she herself didn't make.
Beyoncé is thriving on hype and buzz right now, more than ARTPOP, which had four songs, and six new songs premiered before album release. It isn't about love as much as it is about strategy, which ARTPOP has zero of.
