Roar is not that bad. It's decent, doesn't deserve but will still be big because it's Katy's 1st single after a huge era (like Born This Way). At this point she can just release her fart, and radio will still put that on power rotation.
Roar sounds like a smash hit for sure, but my god the blatant rip off. It's worse than BTW/EY! But Roar will probably be more successful. I don't think people will even care as much.

Roar is def a smash and that's the sad part, I thought Kathryn would go for something more honest and not obvious chart ready.
That said, I listened to Brave and I love it (bought it too), but im still buying Roar, I like it. It is shady as **** that the bitch tweeted how she liked the song before releasing a cover of it though, these *****s have no shame in the 2013, she can say goodbye to any Grammy for it.
