Kimbra's voice sounds nice on that track. Katy should try that sound too.

They sound identical. If you close your eyes and had to guess who the female on the track was, I bet you almost everybody would say Katy Perry. It's uncanny.

Nah... the timbre is different. I find Kimbra's voice is a little bit lighter, while Katy's is heavier and thicker, which is perfect for an edgy, pop-rock record like "Waking Up In Vegas."

Kimbra is almost whispering, so you can't really tell their voices are so different.

I think their biggest hit was "Perfect" which peaked at #24. I'm surprised "Welcome to My Life" missed the top 10. It was pretty big where I live.

I was the first to point out that Kimbra sounds like a vocally trained Katy Perry. 2 months ago when I heard the song I coulda sworn it was Katy.
