I think even Mariah could make a moderate comeback if she played her cards right. It's just that she really doesn't. She should honestly stop performing on TV, because I genuinely can't remember the last time it went well. She doesn't know whether she wants to cater to young or old people and when Mariah Carey is releasing a new single, it needs to be an event. Cause when you're dropping promo single after promo single, eventually nobody will care that you have an album coming out. They start to get seen as just another Mariah song. Plus she has horrible management.

Mariah Carey should be pandering to the urban AC audience. that's the only hope for a comeback she has at this point. she's too old for pop songs like touch my body/obsessed and her RnB songs are too damn slow for the younger urban audience to care about
