I don't think the song is doing that bad.

Shakira is semi-irrelevant outside of Spanish speaking countries.

I think Rihanna actually helped the song do better on a WW scale.

And I still think the song and Vogue Brazil will open her up more to SA going into R8.

Rihanna use to have a lot more pull in Australia when she promoted more and had lighter more poppy music ala Loud/ GGGB.

I think if her music is more pop rock oriented or more mature for r8 and promotes she can regain her footing.

For awhile I thought Australia would rival the UK for her biggest international market but that went up in flames

Well technically MOTS is a mixtape. She was still very confused and immature as an artist back then.

AGLM is her buzz album. Its tolerable, but still not a studio album.

GGGB will forever remain ha iconic debut album.
