Agreed. All I was saying is without strong vocals (I'm not saying Beyonce vocals, just good, non-nasal ones) or stunts, she's never going to have an iconic live performance.

I don't know. I think this performance from the 54th Grammy Award show was good She got a standing ovation, but the surprised face at the end sort of put some off. Not me, but you know.

At this point, performing. She already won AotY and has nothing to prove really. You never hear complaints that her music QUALITY isn't good (people will complain about the genre, but what can you do?), but you do hear that she's not a good live performer. So I'd rather see her shape the public's perception of her live abilities than see her win, since a lot of people don't even take the awards seriously. Like "My Humps" won a GRAMMY sooo...

How do you know that? Are you sure it's in the first hour because I have to go to school and I can only manage to watch the first 1hr 15min of the show or even less than that! I hope I get to experience that holy performance live tomorrow (for me).

If I had to choose between award and performance, in this case I would choose performance. This performance itself can get her more Grammys! But I would love it if her performance is epic but also she also wins at least 2 awards. 1 for HDC is confirmed, I am just hoping the other one is AOTY!

I agree, BUT all my favorite ATW performances happened in stadiums, I think her live performance in front of at least 30000+people is much better than...at least studio. Hopefully this Grammy performance will be even better than her stadium versions.

I Know that Taylor Swift, already has super-saturated recognition, but wouldn't you like her to achieve the status of being the only female artist to win two AOTY awards at the Grammys. This would be a great honor. I think some web site out there is actually saying that it would be like her coronation or something. And actually, the Grammy's are the "IT" of all award shows, because, it is the Music Industry itself that is giving out the awards. It is the same as the Oscars for Movies. Yes, the AMA's and People Choice awards are relevant, but those awards are based on who has the bigger fan bases. That is why you might get Miley, Justin, or 1D on these shows. (not cutting them down). Just Saying, the Grammys are most serious of all the award shows based on the Music Industry Gurus.

Don't care much about awards. Milli Vanilli won. Black Eyed Peas won too with that monstrous atrocity "My Humps." It doesn't matter that much really. It's just a less-rigged popularity contest, and a way of saying "Thank You for Slaying This Year, Even Though We Don't Know If You Will Still Be Here Next Year!" from the industry.
