Apparently there are two more tapes coming out. One is another pervy thing, and the 2nd one is him making a racist comment. Apparently it's not that bad, but will seem bad in the context of Trump.

I feel bad for his kids. Trump's reputation is about to take a hit in a really bad way especially in this social media world. If I were him I would craft an apology to be the first thing out of my mouth at the town debate. I would even cry a little. If no women actually come out and say he assaulted them, he might be able to pull the forgiveness card for words if he claims they were hyperbolic. That's what I would do.

Also, if I were the RNC I would have taped interviews of Bill's victims ready to go for commercials. Surprised they didn't do that already. But it seems the reverse is happening and they are pulling funds for airtime.

Politifact didn't fact check their claims, just Hillary's reaction to them. And who were discredited? Paula Jones got hundreds of thousands of dollars in a settlement. Juanita and Kathleen are still out there years later telling the same story and you could argue they took their claims back in duress. Monica was consensual, but Hillary is on record attacking her and some of the othesr in interviews, which is the crux of the argument. The Clinton war room to discredit and attack the women is widely documented and confirmed to exist.

More often than not, settlements occur because the optics are bad (media loves this) or there are some other details that may surface that they don't want to be public.

They're not admissions of guilt.

Juanita and Kathleen tell the same story that didn't add up. You can make any claim you want but they repeatedly provided conflicting cases, changing their story wherever they saw fit. Maybe it was consensual too and they decided to upgrade it to rape charges. Maybe they're true after all. We don't know so using them as some sort of argument against Bill is fruitless. People already know he's a sexual addict or whatever it is he is.

I suppose conventional morality would say that she should be cordial and forgive them all and do nothing in retaliation. Pardon Hillary for being hostile to the person who is sleeping with her husband. That's not what most people do in practice either /s

I keep saying, going after Bill will be useless. People love Bubba, they forgave him and moved on from all that. He's probably the only politician to come out of a sex scandal with his reputation and likability intact. The RNC and the smart people on Trump's camp know this, that's why they're using it as the very last, desperate resource.

I think the GOP is holding out for the debate tonight to see where to go next. If he bombs totally, he's finished and I think they'll move all of their funding and ground game downballot. It will be significant because, despite his talk of "self-funding", he's very reliant on the RNC.

Not Trump turning on them. I wonder if he'll campaign against him. A new poll came out saying the vast majority of people want the party to stick behind him.

At the same time. Trump is really annoying and I can understand not wanting to take orders from him for 4+ years regardless of the policies he would enact. And he should know better than to make rude comments on film and then run for public office.
