If the song is green on any given update, it means that more people are buying the song on that update than the last one, whether or not the number has gone up or down. The number represents a percentage of sales compared to the #1 song.

The number seems to throw some people off. Let's say a song has a red update but its number has gone up. That means that activity for that song has decreased. It just hasn't decreased as much as the #1 song did.

I know you didn't ask for an explanation, but I figured I'd offer one just in case

Two Top 40 stations were added to the panel, causing a spike in spins (but not in AI since all stations already contribute to AI). Also, an AC station switched over to HAC, so all its spins/AI left AC and went to HAC.
