Before the press announced Missy, KPL posted about Missy (he said he got the tea from security guards). And a few weeks ago Pharrell was leaked and goldsoundz (if he's legit) kinda confirmed that Pharrell was in talks with Katy.

I think Missy is basically confirmed because it was reported by Billboard and Rolling Stone, plus she fits the description Katy gave in her press conference. If its somebody from the late 2000's than it wouldn't fit her "throwback" description
