I wouldn't worry too much about slant, they are harsh on pop artists in general. They gave artpop a higher score but say this is better. Let's wait for other reviews before we freak out.
Let's be honest reviews are useless anyways. Most critics review albums that aren't even targeted or fit with the preferences or the demographic the critic belongs to. It's all together still ridiculous that people get paid to give their opinions though. I have seen a lot of reviews the last years that focus too much on factors that have nothing to do with the reviewed record and more with personal references and side factors. Also the internet bandwagon culture is the worst thing for sites like metacritic where more and more people (users) seems to adapt the opinion of the majorty and basically just write the same thing as the person before them, just with a little different words
So is it for sure she will perform Million Reasons and A-Yo? Giving PI more exposure would be a waste at this point
I hope it's MR and some other song like Diamond Heart. The whole album will be out and she has nothing as PI is dead. A-YO sounds too campy. I don't want another Gypsy SNL performance

I doubt this will go higher than 65 I think they'll review her as Lady Gaga first and foremost. It's a shame because it is a fantastic album, but I doubt critics will be able to dissect the music truly without analyzing Gaga.
