The last time that I checked the charts this song was in the lower top 20 or in the upper top 30 positions, what happened here? Why is this song doing that well all of a sudden?

your faves wish they had these catalog sales with a non-discounted, 30 million selling, 5,5 year old album
This f***ing album. Obviously as an Adele stan I'm ecstatic, but it's performance still goes against everything I know and have learned about the present day music industry. It's been 5.5 years and the gp still can't find another album they would rather buy? And why are they buying such an old album and not streaming it?
HDD predicting them to do 130K sales, yet on iTunes:
Day 1: #1
Day 2: #1
Day 3: #1 half day, #2 half day
Day 4: #2
Day 5: #2
Day 6: #2
Day 7: #2
Drake is predicted to do 40K sales when he's been #1 on iTunes 4 and half days the past week. If being #1 on iTunes most of the week only does 30-40K digital sales, and #2 is obviously less then that means they're doing like 100K physical sales or the projection is too high. Or they were front loaded a lot which might be the case, they have no hits.
