Wait, it's #39 on Spotify with 396, 480 plays.
What were those posts about it only having 14K plays?

That's the spirit!
Nah. I think at this point, we'll just be getting the music video soon (and no lyric video.)

Maybe that was per day the last couple days? Hmmmm. I honestly don't know. I thought streaming was going decent (at least for Brit's normal streaming standards,) but then others were saying she wasn't doing well on Spotify.

Excited for the video. As I said before this era began, I'm focusing only on the quality of music and Britney herself. Stats, chart performance, what her team should be doing, etc. is irrelevant to me.
My bestie and I are buying our tickets this week to some of her shows. We want to go the second month, this way she has time to work out the kinks.

Is that a good start at Spotify? If so, good for Britney's standards or good in general?

Success cannot be our main priority, but if she doesn't have success she will end up not releasing music anymore, and I think we don't want that to happen, do we?

Janet has given up a few years ago.
Christina just did the same, with that letter.
I don't want Britney go that route, TBH. But I get and understand your point, especially because I'm also not expecting anything anymore (even if a 150k first week for the lead single is way down from my "grounded" 250k expectations). Femme Fatale made me cynical about it all, so I don't actually stress like I did in the past... Still, I don't want her to release one "flop" single every two years a la Christina and then disappear.

Before ATRL, I never knew what her chart position was
I just liked her music and her personality.
This is how we should all be, only care about her and the music she brings with her.
and so far, It's good. sweet candy pop like I love

I already convinced myself: She'll do no promo performances, won't perform on any awards shows, will only release 3 videos and will sell 140K opening week.
Anything that happens above that and I'll be excited.

Holy Grail is only a few spots before it, and Jay Z and Justin are strong streamers. So I assume it is doing well.

Yeah. I gathered that she was doing pretty good compared to her normal streaming standards, but then people were ragging on her Spotify streams yesterday or the day before, so I have no idea.
From the looks of it, though, her Vevo views are decent and she's been climbing pretty steadily on Spotify, so I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

People were ragging on it, cause the streams were never updated, some were going off 14K plays, but now it's jumped to 396k.
I keept seeing the 13k or 14K number, but now it is over 300k.

As a chart freak, I'm not too worried with one flop single. It's much riskier than what the other girls released. Plus, it's nowhere near a flop yet. We just made it through the first day of the rolling effect and gained two spins. Tomorrow we'll probably lose around 200, but even that's pretty good, especially for a rolling effect from a radio deal.
