Week 4 Task:
LUXURY CRUISING

This week all candidates EACH must shop for FIVE [5] mildly expensive items at different stores across America.
Five [5] items you must purchase:
1. Ridgeway Timeless Accents Franklin Grandfather Clock
2. Wilson Staff FG Tour Men's Steel Shaft Iron Golf Set
3. Adventure Medical Marine Series 3000 Medical Kit
4. Kuppersbusch Zub 99793 Complete 9-Piece Cookware Set
5. Phantom Dynamics - 30 Inch Mirror Disco Ball
[....]
Challenge:
For this coming week, the prices for all five items are posted TWICE a day (mornings and nights) for exactly FIVE days. EACH candidate is required to COLLECT all FIVE [5] ITEMS in those five days. A candidate should purchase ONE [1] item a day- and ONLY one item per day is allowed - no multiply purchases in the same day. To purchase, you must post a CODE that is given personally to you by KT&T, via PM/private messaging.
Your Goal: Purchase all five items at the lowest prices possible.
Once per day! Everyday!
Team Goal: Total purchase cost in buying all 25 items is lower than the opponent team.
Whichever team with the lowest cost of purchases by the end of the week WINS.
How this week's challenge is going work depends on change in prices for the items. Does this sound familiar? There are several differences and this task is much more complex. The increases or decreases of the price of an item depends on the LAW OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND. The price goes UP when less items are in STOCK (Increases by 4%). The price goes DOWN when 1) more items are in STOCK or 2) no purchases (Decreases by 4% if more, by 2% if no one buys).
Supply & Demand:
Supply decreases, price increases.
Supply increases or same, price decreases.
There is a supply of 11 quantities in stock for each of the five items. The earlier you buy an item the cheaper it is likely to be. If you are the first to buy, it's $600. If you are the last to buy it is $937.
When one item is less in stock, the percentage decreases by 4% to be divided by the principal. When one item is more in stock, the item drops by 4%. When no one buys from an item, the item drops its price by 2%. Calculations is below. Check to make sure you understand.
Formula of price fixing:
11 in stock: $600 / 100% or $600 / 1.00 = $600
10 in stock: $600 / 96% or $600 / 0.96 = $625
9 in stock: $600 / 92% or $600 / 0.92 = $652
8 in stock: $600 / 88% or $600 / 0.88 = $682
7 in stock: $600 / 84% or $600 / 0.84 = $714
.......
2 in stock: $600 / 64% or $600 / 0.64 = $937
1 in stock: $600/ 60% or $600 / 0.60 = $1000
