Navyofbadgals - I like how you had a fruit theme to your entry, and there definitely were innuendos on here...purposely, but regardless!
Superpower - Okay, I can see the innuendos here and everything, but they were mostly obvious ones someone could pick up on after listening to the song once, so it seemed predictable to me.
J P O W - I liked how your choices weren't completely obvious. I especially liked the MMMBop choice. Interesting way to look at things.
Witch_Privilege - Interesting approach there Pandering_Privilege. I do think that these songs were obviously sexual songs, but I guess I was looking for something not obvious or intended, but more unintentional and humorous.
wesleywalrus - The Sesame Street theme was actually the best song of the entry bc it's not obviously sexual. Seems to me you just gave up! If I were you, I would've made a trinity based on "children's songs" that are more than what's on the surface.
rl231 - I would've said Love Myself > Worth It > C'mon Let Me Ride least to most obvious, but that's just me! Anyway, I guess this was just "okay" to me, since I was expecting more "Love Myself" and less "Let Me Ride", if you get what I'm saying.
Lynx - Cake By The Ocean is probably the best song this round from an innocent-intentioned song. Idk why more people didnt use it. Anyway, I'm glad you went the less obvious route for innuendos.

Navy- "I'm gonna leave my children down on this killing floor." oh. Same doe.
Ok but this is really cute. Aside from that, there's nothing really noteworthy from this. Yeah these songs have some innuendos in it, but I feel like they're not very strong? I mean, a sexual song will have a lot of innuendos no matter what. Do you get what I mean? But, I will say I love how you kept a solid theme.
Superpower- I knew about the first two songs tbh, but the last one? MESs. Aside from that sis you kept it pretty basic this time around. But, the songs really do speak for themselves. You picked such obvious songs that really they don't need much explaining.
Jpow- Aw hell naw. Bitch you got me ****ed up. Ok first of ALLLLLL MMMbop is horrible. It belongs in the pits trinity. But like I didn't know about those lyrics ff. Kinda shocked rn ngl. "All that she wants" is messy I didn't realize the lyrics and the song in general was like this. I just...idk.
Witch- You know what But these songs are really obvious about their sexual nature, which is why I don't see the innuendos. I think they're great and I think you did a nice job putting together a cute theme but, the songs are obviously sexual. Actually, Genie in a bottle is the best choice! Christina was low key innocent then, but she gave us this song about someone feeling her up. Clever!
Wesley- Bitch I literally sat here watching that sesame street video 4 times trying to figure out wtf you were talking about until I read the little foot note at the bottom
But ehhhh. Milkshake is SO painfully obvious that it literally doesn't belong in this trinity. Raspberry swirl as well, but to a much lessor degree.
Rl- I'm cracking up @ the amount of eli's
Ok omg first of all, I would hear love myself on the radio (and obviously change it because it's BAD) but like I never knew it was low key dirty. I always thought it was a song about why she loves herself (not sexually tho) I'm over this. And even the last song. Ugh. See yall, this is what innuendos are supposed to be!
Lynx- Who dis?
nn this is too cute. Everything about this is cute. It's cheesy, but I somehow get it (maybe because I like tacky things). Creative and stufffffffz. Nice job again, Sam!

This is definitely an interesting direction. The Lion Sleeps Tonight is some type of clever tbh. Lyrically it's nowhere suggestive but for some reason, like you pointed out, it's always used along with something sexually suggestive yet everyone understands. And this twisted take on Barbie Girl reminds me of 'I'm Your Doll''s video (3:01 - 6:20).
Navyofbadgals
Was it intentional to do all songs with a guitar/rock theme? Anyway, I think it's a amazingly cohesive and the lyrics for them are all made up of fun and clever innuendos. Really well done.
Superpower
I'm worried. Considering your previous couple of entries, it seems like you lost enthusiasm looking at this one. I suppose that could be an effect after entering the flop trinity for the last round. I know you really confident in that entry. I don't really feel like there's a cohesive or running theme with this one. I guess for innuendos, one that's thinly veiled (these walls), one that makes good use of it (coffee), and one that's having fun with it (london bridge)?
JPOW
This childhood ruined theme is absolutely perfect. I agree about All That She Wants. As a kid, despite being a bop, none of the lyrics made sense to me at all and to this day the "all that she wants is another baby" still makes me think of a literal baby?? I'm assuming they mean sperm or a lover but I just can't ever get the mental picture of an infant out. When The Lights Go Out is such a thinly veiled suggestive song and thinking of MMMBop's lyrics as a sexual innuendo actually makes it more of an empowerment/liberating anthem
Witch
This judge pandering.

Why did Moon change the song from the Elmo one to the Sesame Street theme? The latter is so much easier to work with in comparison. However, I love the progressive direction you took with it for the overall theme of the trinity.

You just made me realize what the Love Myself song was really about! I never really paid attention to the lyrics before. Anyway, love your choices for this but mainly cause of you pointing out that these are "guilty pleasures." That term usually denoting something as cheesy but still enjoyable but in this circumstance, "guilty pleasure" serves as an innuendo in itself for this theme.
Lynx
This is the route I personally was anxious to see. Although there's so many suggestive songs and/or music videos with food themes, they're so fun to work with and I think you did a good job with the Confectionarium & Bakehouse tour route. I feel maybe you could've explained how the songs were being innuendos or what they were actually suggesting, but on the other hand you played along with the innuendo theme by staying in character for it. Good job.
