I've always loved Bang but now I just can't stop watching the vid, listening to the song or humming to the lyrics/beat while doing sth else. It's contagious They could try with this one on the radios and see where it could go... anyways, I'm happy that we'll get at least 1 more video from this era (EB) but I wish she'd do some low-budget videos at least for Heartbreaker, God of War and Big Fat Lie. Or at least 1 out of these 3. Just for us fans. And she's getting them views on her name only (lol), 600k+ views for a song that came outta nowhere for the GP.

That would be great... I'm happy Bang was made available in the US. I think we might get the US edition afterall.

Her team would make such a big mistake to not send it to urban radio, and if ti catches on to let it remix with a rapper and make it a urban radio smash

Also they should release a big remix EP in the US for Run. I think with the rigth club plays, she could have a #1 or atleast top 5 on the dance charts aswell.

Maybe not the most important charts, but still a nice achievement.

They should definitely try that. They could get a rapper do a verse and they don't need Nicole for that. Just make a remix, send it to radios/clubs and see if it gets played. Even if it doesn't make it, at least they didn't spend big or anything.

I think my opinion is what's generally being said about this era. The quality of material was much stronger on Killer Love

That's to be expected considering Killer Love was recorded in a span of over like 6 years. For instance "Powers Out feat. Sting" was recorded way back in 2007. Nicole had 6 years to pick and choose the songs from her a catalogue of over 5 shelved albums, Killer Love had to be good.

Big Fat Lie was recorded within a couple of months but its cohesive and I honestly think its a good album, people just don't like it because it's Nicole. If someone else released Big Fat Lie it would go #1 and people would think it's life-changing or whatever.

the majorty of Killer Love also has been recorded within a couple of months though. She recorded all RedOne tracks around and during the Summer of 2010. And AmenJena was recorded a few weeks before the album was supposed to be released. It was also the plan originally to release Killer Love in the same kind of way as Big Fat Lie, so a completely produced album by one production team. But after Poison catching on, she went back to the studio and reworked the album idea, to what we eventually got in 2011.

Also both initial ideas for both albums are completely different Big Fat Lie was recorded with no label pressure and with a more of a therapy thought behind it, and finding her own sound. Killer Love was more just released for the sake of commercial appeal.With as side thought a possible tour.

I prefer Killer Love too. Yes, a lot of the songs were jumping on trends (Ester Dean-Stargate and RedOne songs), but it seemed like they actually spent time perfecting it to make it sound right. A lot of the songs on BFL sound so cheap, but considering the background behind it, it's not that surprising.

I also agree that if it were released by certain other artists, everyone would be praising songs like "Bang" and "First Time" endlessly. I still wouldn't like them.

Same, especially the album Boomerang was supposed to feature on. I mean why was Boomerang the supposed leadsingle? Was it really the best track for that time, or was it an odd choice etc.
