I think for the last 20 or so posts, I am just going to finish up each artist one at a time to get er done. Tell a sort of mini story with the promo. Because the switching back and forth and alternating is making it hard to keep counts lol

GOOD MORNING AMERICA

Danity Kane has headed back to the US to wrap up promotion this week for their brand-new single, "Lemonade" featuring Tyga. After hyping the single and spoiling the fans last week, Danity Kane embarked on a mini-global adventure this week to get their name out there on different markets, which was quite the success. After promoting in France and Japan, Danity Kane have built a more global-recognizable name, with "Lemonade" charting in the Top Five in both countries as well as about thirty more thanks to their main iTunes banner deal. In the United States however, Danity Kane is beginning to slip just a little bit as their single stayed at #6 on the US iTunes chart right before their appearance on Good Morning America. Before their performance, the three girls got comfortable with the host and had some nice coffee before going right on the air. And once they did, everything went so smooth.
Host: Good morning America! Today I am here with multi-Platinum selling girl group, Danity Kane. Hello ladies, you look lovely this morning.
Danity Kane: Thank you!
Host: So you three have travelled from America to France to Japan back to America in the span of three days - how in the world do you have the energy for this and how are you feeling?
Dawn: We're machines.
Host: What's the trick though?
Shannon: Making sure you got a nice pillow and just drinking a lot, like a lot.
Host: Did you girls feel like you did good?
Aubrey: Yeah, we had a blast and the crowds look like they really opened to us. I think premiering one of our new songs, "Rhythm of Love", which by the way comes out on our EP Sunday, was the highlight. France went wild for the track - we're so glad they did.
Host: And in France I think you mentioned you girls were planning this ginormous global tour?
Dawn: Well we're not really a global act yet so we're trying to go do as many shows as we can and really let the radios establish us, then go on this huge tour. Basically on the tour we'll spend at least three days in each city/country just not only playing our nightly show, but exploring the lands as human beings, going on some shows, meeting new fans - it's going to be really exciting.
Host: And when do we find this information out?
Shannon: Next week.
Aubrey: Yes, we are releasing our comeback EP next Sunday, and we've got some huge things planned, so next week's going to be crazy.
Host: I know a lot of folks have been asking about the music of the EP, but I wanna know, what can we expect visually?
Aubrey: A lot of things.
Dawn: We are actually going to release our "Lemonade" video on Sunday too, and more details are coming up today about that actually. So be perched on our Twitter and keep Googling "Danity Kane" because we have a very big announcement which has like these sub-announcements coming up later.
Host: How exciting is it to be releasing new music again?
Shannon: It's just... the best. Us three have been secretly dying to be together as Danity Kane again but we were always so busy with personal life and stuff that it was never the right moment, until last year a huge door opened and we all just went in and took that chance.
Host: What's different, besides having total control of the music, this time around?
Aubrey: I think just having ourselves figured out as people really. We've each had more than enough time to go through parts of our lives where we can cement our beliefs, values, hobbies and just really... we know who we are and what we want.
Dawn: Absolutely, and we’re incorporating more genres into it. But the EP is pretty short, although it does expose a wide, wide range of variety.
Host: When will we be finding out all the details on this EP - I mean, it is due out in just three days so now would seem like a good time to spill.
Aubrey: Like we’ve said, we’ve got many announcements coming up today so stick around on our Twitter ‘cause later we’ll be revealing some pretty important stuff.
Host: So it seems like there’s a lot of competition coming up next week with the Albums Chart. How do you girls prepare?
Shannon: For us, it’s mainly about the music. I mean, if we debut outside the Top Three then that’s not really good, but to be honest as long as people are loving the material we’re putting out then it’s all good.
Dawn: I’m actually on the edge of my seat for Azealia, I really really wanna see what she’s got in store. Her last album was amazing!
Host: What about this whole return is so exciting for you girls?
Aubrey: I think just, being on-stage together and just being one cohesive unit. It’s like we know each other inside-out now, and these two ladies with me are incredible performers. Just killing it on stage together is amazing enough as is. Not everyone gets the perfect chance to reunite and continue where they’ve left off. We’re very fortunate.
Host: How many singles can we expect from this EP?
Shannon: Three. We love each one so much.
Host: If you could say one thing to Sean “Diddy” Combs - what would you say?
Aubrey: Well, I think we all know I’ve always got a lot to say when it comes to him. But we’re so appreciative for the platform that he and MTV have built for us, but things just ended pretty, pretty sour. So coming back, we want to show him specifically that we can do it without him. I mean with respect of course, he’s a very talented human being business-wise and music-wise, but it’s like “Screw you!” in a way. Because after ripping us apart, he honestly sounded like he didn’t think we could come back.
Dawn: And just ‘cause we’re not five girls like we used to be doesn’t mean we can’t achieve new goals or maximize our potential. You know you see these girl groups like Fifth Harmony, G.R.L. and Little Mix coming out in four and five - but there’s no trio nowadays. And I think that’s what makes us so unique now. We have the ability to do so much more, with less.
Host: I completely agree. In previous performances, you three didn’t have any production what-so-ever, yet you owned the stage. And we should get to that right about now, after the break, Danity Kane will perform their brand-new single for us. Stick around for more!
When the show returned, the host re-introduced and informed the crowd that their new single “Lemonade”, would be performed in just seconds. Performing inside the studio, Danity Kane did not have any production to back them up. However, they still slayed the floor. (“Love it, when I’m flexin’ up in my car / Door swing open, for my passenger") Dawn’s arm extends and floats to the left, making a semi-circle motion. (“Look up in the mirror, fix my mascara”) She then slides her hand on her forehead and (“People wanna know, who the hell is her”) she swings her left arm in the air as if she’s rioting. As the instrumental keeps playing, she continues rapping her lines, bending into a squat position and popping her ***** left and right exactly in-sync with the baseline, which stuns the host. She finishes the rap going back to her initial position at the beginning of the song. More spotlights, of white and yellow are added as the girls go into the chorus.
(“Oooh / These haters got a, sour ass look up on they face”) The girls strutted forward, looking fierce as ****. They all wore black/white/yellow attire, looking very edgy and stylish while executing the choreography. The girls belted out the word of the single “lemonade” effortlessly, as they swerved their arms to show off parts of their body, but in a very classy manner. (“They lookin’ so thirsty, might just need a drink / Lemonade, lemonade / Lemonade, lemonade”) The trio all swayed left and right, then blasted their fists out on-point with the rhythm to form a cup. The music stopped as Aubrey spoke a little bit: “Good Morning America! We hope y’all are a bit thirsty today."
Aubrey killed her verse, and Shannon kept rolling up very nicely with her hook. The third time the chorus played came, and the girls did more harmonizing. Dawn, Aubrey and Shannon each got a turn in belting out the “lemonade” lyric as the other two sang it softly. Some drumbeats came, and some lights flickered as Tyga began to rap (via playback). The girls entered a dance breakdown, which stunned the viewers back home, and the host. Flipping their hair, spinning and doing more dance moves incorporating their arms - the three full-on SLAYED the breakdown. The host looked very impressed as Danity Kane were giving their performance 110% of effort. They all stood in a line and shouted: “Lemonade, lemonade” to end the performance.
The host came out, congratulated the girls and a digital playing of “Lemonade” came up on the screen for a bit. The host reminded the crowd that “Lemonade” was available to download, and also told the viewers to stay on the lookout for more Danity Kane news today. Also, the host told the viewers that tonight Danity Kane will be debuting a new song on The X Factor. The performance and interview boosted “Lemonade” back into the Top Five as more exciting news was to come today.

Whitney Houston rises from the dead/Drags the girls
A new tidal wave of media reports have come in as this morning on Good Morning America Whitney Houston walked out in the middle of the show where she took a microphone, wearing a Gucci dress. Whitney supposedly died in 2012 but miracously has been brought back to live. The hosts of the show stood there speechless as many fainted as the singer sashayed out onto the stage where she began hitting some notes, getting her old voice back as she began to move towards a camera that focused on her. "Let me tell you something. America I was dead but a bitch is back now. The VOICE is back? Y'all think these other hoes are The Voice? Whiteskin, Bey, bye you bleachin bitch. The real queen is back. Get your ass back to Houston and worship your ****ing idol bitch. Up here promoting and performing the same routines. Bitch your recycling as much as the spin cycle on my wash machine is. And Mariah, bitch I know your ass was praying over your voodoo candles that I would drown bitch. Tryna be on twitter on mourn when I know your ass was cackling with a cookie in one hand and a coke in the other. It's because you were about to release that little flop album... Me. I Am Mariah.... The Elusive Swine. Bitch your career shoulda died when I died in that bathub. Calling yourself Bianca and **** bitch bye your ass should still be shackled to Tommy. Tryna take all my royalties from our duet. Ch, Mooriah. But I'm back now, better than ever and ready to drag these hoes with talent and of course success. Leaving not a single wig unsnatched you bet I am. My new single drops this week and it has a special feature from the dead. My iconic queen of disco sister, Miss Donna Summer is on it. It's called 'Hoodtress'. Imma show Whiteskin how to really be HOOD." Houston then left the stage and posed for the paparazzi.

DANITY KANE TO TAKE OVER MTV NEXT WEEK

After debuting "Lemonade" on TRL last week, Danity Kane has been working with MTV under wraps on a new project which is being announced today. The group originally formed on MTV's series Making the Band (Season 3) in the mid-2000s, but now to boost their big comeback, they're going back to the place where it all started. Starting Sunday upon the release of Danity Kane's EP, Danity Kane will takeover MTV all of next week. This takeover will include special TRL Countdowns from the ladies, an exclusive premiere of the "Lemonade" music video, re-runs of Making the Band and much more. "We're very excited to be going back to MTV and we're honored to take over the entire week to promote our new release," Dawn stated. The takeover will kick off with a mini-documentary interviewing Danity Kane about coming back to the industry, and showing mini-clips of them in the studio. The mini-special will be half-an-hour at 12PM EST. And later that evening at 8PM EST, the "Lemonade" video will premiere right before their first TRL Special. "We've got pretty big things planned, it's going to be awesome," Shannon exclaimed. Danity Kane will also be joined by Making the Band alumni Day26 as well as former member Aundrea Fimbres later in the week. Rumors circulating that Wanita/D. Woods might attend the reunion - causing some more buzz given how things went sour between them last year. So get your DVRs cleared and mark the date and time - it's going to be an amazing week!

Writing the concept for a music video is so hard
It's been taking up my time forever now and I've been pushing the deadline further and I'm nearly done.
It's not even good enough

Taylor Swift for Billboard

Taylor Swift has been dubbed as many things in her almost decade long career. From being titled as "America's Sweetheart" or a "serial dater", Taylor Swift has pretty much captured the entire nation's (well in reality let's say globe's) attention at some point in time. With her debut album selling over 5,000,000 copies alone in the United States, with her sophomore album 'Fearless' outdoing her eponymous debut selling over 9,000,000 copies worldwide with over seven million of those sales coming from the United States. Swift's chart performance then began to ascend, her albums 'Speak Now' and 'Red' both debuting at the top spot on the Billboard 200 with over one million copies sold in it's debut week. (SN - 1,011,000 - Red - 1,209,000). Many thought Taylor Swift had reached the pinnacle of her career after her album 'Red' but Swift then followed it up with her sixth studio album 'Coven 13' which spawned three consecutive number one singles and a sold out global stadium tour. The album was also a major hit with critics. In her entire career Taylor Swift has sold over 26,000,000 records and has spawned 5 consecutive number one singles and six overall. With the brand new release of her brand new EP 'Coven 13' along with her massive recent success she's on the cover of the latest issue of Billboard Magazine.
We talked to the lovely Taylor Swift during rehearsals for her Electric Princess World Tour, a massive stadium tour that kicks off tonight at the Tokyo Dome, in Tokyo. In which she was nice enough to perform two songs, 'Gunshots' and 'Losing Touch' for us (which later would be uploaded to Billboard.com) Swift wears a 4-20 mesh jersey with a pair of black pants and boots with her hair up in a ponytail as we sit across from her in her dressing room. She slips out of her Alexander Wang boots and wraps her arms around her knees, looking innocent and just as charming as ever as we greet each other warmly. "Hey, how are you" she asks us, not hesitating to get up and hug me, along with the rest of our crew, even asking us if she wanted some cookies she'd baked specially for us (which by the way were absolutely delicious).
Billboard: You've have an amazing past year or two. From having five consecutive number one singles to have huge critically acclaimed albums and tours, how is it to have so much success and longevity? It's almost a rareity today in the music industry?
Taylor: I feel as if success and longevity in the music industry today is mostly because of innovation. If you keep putting out the same type of music you have your entire music, people will get bored, radios will drop you, and you know if radio drops you, there's a pretty high chance you're never going to be successful again. As an artist I feel am in a way innovative. Because if I were to have just stuck to country music, I would probably be unknown outside of the United States.
Billboard: Are there any artists in the music industry today you find very innovative?
Taylor: Definitely Justin. He's had like twenty or more top three singles in his career and about five number one albums to his name. He had it harder than I believe I did because he's been doing this since he was fourteen. He had to find a way to transition from a teenage audience to a more mature audience. I have no idea how but he did it amazing as you could tell. He's worked hard for his success and that's another thing you have to do really survive in this industry.
Billboard: You've found yourself almost being the new celebria queen. From attacking your best friends on the streets to issuing lawsuits. How do you feel about the media attention?
Taylor: The media is always going to be there no matter what you do. If you don't feed them anything to report about they'll make stuff up. It's how they work and in a way it can be a good or bad thing. I've been a gossip sweetheart my entire career so you know TMZ reporting I attacked someone is nothing. I've had people leak my phone calls for god's sake.
Billboard: You've released your brand new EP 'Coven 13', a contiunation of 'Coven 13' the album. Tell us some about the recording of that album?
Taylor: 'Coven 13' (EP) was very quick to record. I believe I did those eight songs in a single month. I'd been working on some stuff for another album at the time and I just got kind of frustrated with it and started working on something else. I remember it was the first time I'd ever listened to the songs in full and I knew instantly that it had to have something to do with Coven 13 (album). So my label heard it and wanted to put the songs on a re-issue of the album. That of course didn't happen because I felt I would be cheating my fans. So I released all the new songs seperately on an EP.
Billboard: Do you have a favorite song off the EP?
Taylor: I would definitely say 'Losing Touch' - that song kinda hits you hard right in the heart.
Billboardt: Could you tell us the story behind the song? It's a very lyrical piece and it's been named the best song on the album by many reviewers.
Taylor 'Losing Touch'-uh kind of is a tell all about Brendon and I's relationship. From the miscarraige to the fallout. It kind of just tells you everything that happens. I find it almost similar to All Too Well of RED in a way because it just tells you about the entire thing but it wasn't intentional with this song.
Billboard: 'Gunshots' has been a massive single for you and of course Zendaya. How is it working with her and what makes the song so relatable to you?
Taylor: Working with Zendaya is absolutely utter fun. She has this positive energy and indescribabe aura about her that makes you absolutely love her. "Gunshots' is a song that is very relatable in an number of different ways. It describes someone being weak and always watching their lives passing them by and you know with time they build up their strength and just finally stand up for themselves. It's cliché but with the sound of the song it really works.
Billboard: Your music videos as of late have been show stopping as you've been writing and directing them. Why did you decide to start doing your own video treatments?
Taylor: It's firstly not because I don't want to work with other writers or directors. It's because you know as of late I've been getting into acting and I've been sort of inspired. I have an amazing imagination and I've decided to take advatage of that, you know?
Billboard: The music video for it is out soon? What's going to be so unxpected about it?
Taylor: Everything.

Kesha premiers 'Beautiful Mess' video
Kesha has premiered the official visual for her latest single 'Beautiful Mess' today on her official VeVo account.
The video had 2 teasers, before it dropped officially.
The video opens with Kesha and the love of her life, played by Josh Hutcherson cuddling, having fun, going out for dinner and kissing, while Kesha holds a monologue (I). But things turn bad real soon as the video proceeds to Josh and Kesha fighting, Josh packing his stuff and leaving Kesha behind. Before he leaves Josh yells: "I wish I had never loved you, never met you." and slams the door. The camera zooms into Josh leaving the house and then moves to Kesha, who is still upstairs, in the corner of her room, crying her eyes out and regretting the fight that had just occured. During these events monologue II plays.
The screen turns black and returns to Kesha's room, where a sped up version of the days after is played. The day sees Kesha, dressed in plain skinny jeans and a white top, not knowing what to do crying again. Leaving the room for a while, just to return and cry some more. Halfway through this scene monologue III starts playing and Kesha lays on her bed. As the camera zooms in on Kesha, the intro of 'Beautiful Mess' starts playing and Kesha closes her eyes and the screen turns black once the camera zoomed in completely.

II: Once you realise what has just happened, it is already too late. You just lost the one that was your everything. Your life. Your reason to get up in the morning. His warmth when he puts his safe arms around you during the night. It's not there any more.
III: Time goes by and slowly you've started to realise that the experience made you stronger and better, that is when the real fun begins.

As the intro continues Kesha is seen running through a narrow dark hall, dressed in a black nightgown, as if she's being haunted by something and she tries to run away. At the end of the hall is a bright shining light. As Kesha runs towards the light in slowmotion, the lights go from yellow to green to red, to blue, back to yellow again.
Once Kesha walks into the light the first verse starts. During this verse Kesha falls out of the doorway she just ran through, landing in a red desert. As the verse progresses, Kesha is seen running through the desert to an oasis.
As the chorus starts scenes of Kesha dancing in coloured mud with 5 other dancers are shown, with them throwing the mud around. During the chorus Kesha also flirts with the egyptian hotties, dressed in nothing but yellow shorts, in the oasis as she winks, touches their bare chests and shakes what her momma gave her.
During the second verse, Kesha continues her Egyptian adventure as she walks into the local bar. In between scenes of Kesha laying and rolling in glittery mud are shown, but in the bar Kesha and her 4 girlfriends dance as Josh, dressed as an Egyptian hobo, walks into the bar. The music stops and everyone looks at the pair as Josh walks towards Kesha claiming he wants her back and he misses her.
Kesha tells him he's not welcome in her life anymore and as the second chorus kicks, Josh is surrounded by Kesha's new egyptian friends, who escort him out of the bar.
Once the midle-8 begins Kesha is shown laying in a water spring, with a black bikini top and white hotpants and her colourful rainbow hair fanned out around her head as she sings. The scenes skip to Kesha dancing on her own in the pool of water, Kesha dancing with 5 other dancers in the coloured mud, Kesha dancing in the bar and flirting with egyptian hunks.
Kesha's new single, 'Beautiful Mess', is out now on Itunes, Amazon and physical copies are available at your local supermarket.
