I'm hoping for a lot but Ryan Murphys shows almost always end after 6 seasons. AHS is different though so we'll see.

It's AMERICAN horror story so that's unlikely. And although Jessica is an amazing edition to the cast she isn't crucial. The show will get along just fine without her. Especially if Angela Basset and Kathy Bates stay.

and i'm willing to bet the show will lose critical and commercial acclaim--even if just SOME--due to her absence. she's a vital, huge aspect to the show.

i think it'll last six seasons--maybe even five.

He spoke about possibly luring Jessica back for a season, although it may not be until Season 7 or 8. So I think they have quite a fruitful future ahead, especially with how this show evolves and changes drastically each season. With Nip/Tuck and Glee, you couldn't really change much and in the last few seasons it just started to get stale.

AHS has proven already in its only 3 year run that its here to stay. Jessica Lange is amazing yes, but she in no way carries the show. The show will be fine, especially now that it looks like Kathy and Angela are coming back for Season 4 and potentially more seasons in the future.



For all we know they could cast Angelina Jolie for Season 7 or even a Legend like Sidney Poitier....

Agreed. The cast as a whole is fantastic, and I love them dearly, but Jessica is undoubtedly the heart of the show. Her lack of presence will be glaringly obvious, especially if Sarah, Lily and Evan stick around; it just won't be the same. I wouldn't mind Angela or Kathy "taking over," though.

Besides, as a Nip/Tuck stan, I know all too well how Ryan gets towards the end of a long running show. Let's hope and pray we don't get a repeat of those monstrosities, 'cause chiiile.

I foresee a major revamp in the cast around Season 5, these actors can't stay on the show forever, and I think it would breathe new life into the show with a completely new cast.

I mean actors like Taissa and Evan can only play so many roles. Sadly I doubt more then 2 for Taissa.

Oh, I'm all for new blood, but I don't see them letting Lily, Sarah or Evan go. I'm sure Emma's sticking around too, thanks to the gerls eating her up this season.

Taissa can kick rocks though. I'd love big sis Vera to join the show if Bates Motel gets cancelled though.
