People in Southern California are actually the nicest people I've met. People in LA have terrible road rage, and in some parts they aren't very friendly to out-of-towners. But it is still an AMAZING city. Best place to party too.
But yeah, Vancouver is one of the hardest places to make friends. Everyone always travels in groups, and aren't very approachable.
