Yeah, there are some people who are completely immune to the most common strain of HIV. If you have both copies of a certain gene you're completely immune. If you have one, then you're not immune but the disease progresses more slowly (or you're slightly less likely to contract HIV, idr now).
Huh. I wonder if they have these people volunteer to have their blood (or whatever they need from them, I ain't smart) taken for research.

I tried it for the first time when I was 18, it's nothing bad at all. For you first time you will almost never drink too much . I dislike it though, which is why I haven't had any non-wine alcoholic drink since age 18 (and only drink wine like 3x a year)

I made a Tinder and an OkCupid and so far I haven't had much luck with it. Supposedly 15 people like my OkCupid profile but no one sends me a message, and with Tinder is worse. I got three matches, one of them not very interested, the second didn't talk at all to me (though I wish he did, he was perfect), and the third was a straight guy who wanted me to give him the numbers of my girl friends and that didn't understand the idea of 'coming out.' And I'm really sad that today was a beautiful day and I had no one to spend it with, my only friend is studying abroad so this is going to be a lonely semester, unless I get cured of my social awkwardness I guess.
I kinda miss my beard. Idk what I look better with tho. Clean shave or trimmed beard. I've never really asked anyone advice on this. One thing is, it's easier to maintain my face with no beard.
