I agree. I wonder why they easily gave up when Nobody's Home technically flopped.

I always think that Avril is always handled by her management(debut up to present) poorly. Ugh.

I agree! They easily gives up on her once a single flops. They could have milked Let Go era more by releasing Things I'll Never Say and Anything But Ordinary. But I guess they were rushing for a follow up hit album rather than hit singles.

With UMS, they should have properly released Fall To Pieces because it's meant to be her 5th top 10 single. Also, if they were really presenting her as a dark pop rock princess during that time, they should have released Take Me Away too.

TBDT is basically Teenage Dream. It's full of radio and chart friendly songs. Runaway, Everything Back But You and Contagious are destined to be hits.

UMS should actually be considered alternative. If you look at artists that are consider alt today (All Time Low, You Me At Six, Paramore, FOB etc), UMS is heavier than their stuff

Im disappointed that they didnt prolong LG and UMS eras

LG = Anything But Ordinary / Things I'll Never Say / Tomorrow could do wonders

UMS = Who Knows / Take Me Away / How Does It Feel / Fall To Pieces

for TBDT, they should've released Innocence as
a WW single.

for GL, I Love You, Everybody Hurts and Remember When's getting the snub is a very dumb decision.

top 200 is album charts only sis!

top 100 is for singles + with bubbling under which only uses 25 songs, so she needs to get 'Fly' into top 125

Nettwerk (Sp?) ..... her management at the time said that her label wanted to release 6-8 singles from Let Go, but that they convinced them otherwise, because they didn't want Avril ending up like Alanis with an album bigger than the actual artist, as it would have ruined her. So instead Netwerk pushed for a follow-up album, which the label agreed with. So that is why there were only 4 singles from Let Go and why 'Mobile' was cancelled last minute. Mobile would have slayed the charts, with 6th single Anything But Ordinary slaying also. 7th and final single Thing I'll Never Say would have been her 1st #1, and then everyone would have been sick of Avril, and no one would have been here for her follow up. Actually her first two albums were handled perfectly.
