this entire conversation is stupid honestly. Frank made wrote a coming out letter that resonated so much with his black LGBT fans, finally there was a popular artist that looked like them being open about his sexuality and candid about his love for someone of the same gender. that is revolutionary, especially since there are very few black LGBT artists out right now
the problem is you painted him as some closet case who is clearly gay but refusing to admit to it and purposely neglecting LGBT rights, which is simply not true no matter how you spin it. tumblr is a social media platform, how does it make it less than if he posted about it there rather than twitter? the post i quoted has 40,000 notes, is that public enough for you?
