She has been falling on hot Ac ever since last week so most probably it has peaked on hot Ac. But today's update on hot Ac is better since she even increase her ai there! But if it really has second wind on Pop then it might also have a second chance on hot Ac too!
Agreed. I don't care that some parts of that song was rough. It was beautiful. I want a polished studio version but alas, that will be another "I wish."
PS. Listening to Stronger for the first time in ages full from beginning to end. Listened to Honestly and I do like the chorus but the rest is trash. And I still hate SIFOY. I feel like I should be staring out into the rain when i listen to that dreary song.
I like SIFOY... Honestly was just so much better in demo form. Kelly's version just feels like it's missing something.
And I hate that they took the cool creepy background vocals and made them actual lyrics towards the end. "YOU CAN TELL ME YOU CAN TELL ME YOU CAN TELL ME" Stop screaming at me.
I forgive you would actually have done great. Such a feel good summer song. Makes me UPSET that this girl choose Dark Side. I would have been fine with DS as a single but after IFY. She would have had guaranteed three top 10s in a ROW which she hasn't accomplished in so long. Ugh.
I think the little vocal inflections she does during Honestly are amazing. It took a while for it to finally click with me but I love it now. I still wanna know if that's her singing that note in the background towards the end. With a few changes in the live version, it could make for an epic Grammys performance.
Always Be My Baby was great vocally but she didn't go in enough for me. Idk why she does the most vocally with flop songs but with vocally famous songs like this, she barely tries. Blah.
I love the harmonies in TSWR. Ugh. It's so solid. The majority of her songs would have benefitted from the summer weather. TWIO and YLM can be a good fall/winter single.
