"Across all five primaries today, a little more than half of voters are looking for an outsider rather than someone with political experience, including in Ohio and Florida. Outsider voters have ranged from a low of 43 percent (in Texas) to a high of 60 percent (in Mississippi) in previous contests this year, averaging 49 percent – and Trump’s won 62 percent of their votes.
Again across all five states voting today, two-thirds favor a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States, high across the states, and peaking at three-quarters in Missouri. Looking at two states considered key, support for a Muslim ban is about two-thirds in Ohio and Florida, alike. It’s averaged a similar 68 percent across previous contests this year – of whom 43 percent have been Trump supporters, vs. 30 percent for his nearest competitor, Ted Cruz."
Omg wait, it looks like it's more of the liberals and independents who are crossing over to the Republicans if that MSNBC chart is correct.
Anyway, I'm just gonna come out and say this: I have no respect as a voter for anyone who jeopardizes Hillary's campaign by crossing over, sorry! Defeating Trump is a priority, but would be better done in November since it looks like a brokered convention isn't going to happen.
I'll FUME if she loses three of these states tonight. Y'all will never hear the end of it if these people **** this up even a little.
"Across today’s states, only six in 10 Democratic voters in preliminary exit poll results describe Clinton as honest and trustworthy, while eight in 10 say that about Sanders. Sanders is considered more honest in all five states today, including by a wide margin in Missouri, but also by double-digits in Ohio."
"In contrast to the fractured GOP contest, majorities of Democrats today would be satisfied if either Clinton or Sanders was the eventual nominee, with little difference between them (three-quarters vs. seven in 10)."
"In preliminary results, two-thirds of voters across today’s five primaries give Hillary Clinton a better chance of defeating Donald Trump in November if he were the nominee. Only three in 10 say the same of Sanders."
"In preliminary results today, more than half overall want to continue Obama’s policies – but not a majority in Ohio."
