While I love the album, I kinda miss the indie sound on OOTB.
You and me have always been in sync re: Katy. I like a lot of these songs but I'm just not connecting with them the way I did with the last album. Last time around she was bit scrappier and her songs had more heart.
One Of The Boys was more Kelly/Avril/Pink sounding while this is insanely girly pop music and sounds more like Ke$ha/Britney/Christina. I prefer Teenage Dream but both albums have fillers and both albums slightly dissapointed me cuz I was hoping for every track to be hit-sounding like Animal :-/

Insanely girl pop is much too commercial for Christina.

I actually agree. While I do love this whole Electro-Pop persona she has for this record, I miss the days when she didn'y have to rely on a whole slew of writers to help write a song, and when her songs were real and raw. :-/
i enjoy listening to Teenage Dream alot better than ONE OF THOSE BOY. Teenage Dream is one of those rare album which i can sit through from the beginning to an end without having to skip any tracks. the production wise is just PERFECT, plus i enjoy listening to her telling story through her songs. EX. she painted dis big ass mess party she experienced on LAST FRIDAY. Teenage Dream to me is like a BIGGEST HITZ COLECTION because it puts me in so many different moods through out the entire cd and almost every songs are PERFECT.
