Taylor Swift’s promotion during the campaign for her Yours: The Greatest Hits album has been quite heavy as the singer-songwriter has embarked on enough promotion to send not only the first single to the top of the singles charts from the album but the album itself as well, selling over seven hundred thousand copies of it first week, giving Taylor Swift the highest first week sales of the new year and securing her ninth number one single and fifth number one album, a feat only matched by Justin Bieber, who features on the second single from the album, titled ‘Too Good To Lose’. The song was written by Justin and Taylor and looks to be a big hit as the two have only been promoting the song for a few days and the song has already managed to top the iTunes chart with ease, making it one of the fastest selling and fastest climbing songs of their careers.
When talking about it’s fast climb to the top in an interview on Late Night with Jimmy Kimmel, Taylor was seemed excited, almost ecstatic by how much success the song was receiving. The singer would also thank the fans and radio for the support they’ve shown the song along with other things such as her label, and management who’ve really helped kick the song off to a great start. “I mean going top ten on pop radio and number one on iTunes in the first few days of making it a single absolutely incredible and really shocking because that’s such a rarity in music, now these days. Usually, a song has to be promoted or has to be sent to radio to really get it’s start or jump. Either be sent to radio or have a huge performance. But the fact that along it’s release on Justin’s album when he released it two weeks back it was climbing into the top fifty on radio with ease and staying in the top twenty on iTunes, it’s crazy. We’re absolutely floored by the success of it. Which is really surprising considering how much success we’ve experienced in the past few years of our career. This is just a whole nother’ level of success really.” Justin would look on with a smile before they’d move on to some other topics.
The topic of country music would be brought up as Taylor would shift in her seat awkwardly, nodding while Jimmy spoke, more than attentive. He’d ask her if she’d ever return the genre. The question sparked an answer of Taylor that many weren’t expecting or really ever thought they’d hear. “Country music really helped me get my name on the radar . That’s where I won most of my awards, that’s where I made most of my connections. But there comes a time after you stay faithful to a genre for song long where you want to experiment and try different things. So after RED and All At Once, I figured it’d be best for me to try something new, to release albums with different sounds, different influences. Every album I’ve put out doesn’t sound the same. Listen to the hits on my new album, they are so different. The songs, the new ones on the record are different. That’s what I mean by that. But I think there’s going to come a time where I go back to country or in a lane that’s somewhere near it. I think the time is really soon. But with my return, I don't really want to rush things. Rushing records really causes a lot of commotion not only behind the scenes but within an artist themselves. I've never really rushed a record. Not intentionally but I've seen it happen. It is something I never really want to see happen to anyone. It's just grueling.” After that, Taylor would move on in the interview to other various topics asked by the interviewer who was listening attentively to the singer songwriter who's become of the biggest stars in music history and in music in general.
Taylor and Justin would then perform ‘Too Good To Lose’ before plugging their greatest hits records ‘ The Collection & More’ and ‘Yours: The Greatest Hits’.
Kelly Brianne Clarkson is a singer and songwriter. In 2002, she shot to stardom after winning the first season of American Idol, and has since been established as "The Original American Idol." Jordin Brianna Sparks is a singer, songwriter and actress. In 2007,won the sixth season of American Idol. At age 17, she became the youngest winner in the series' history. Genesis Entertainment is a newly created record label for artist. The founder C Speezy is still looking for outstanding artists around.
Genesis Entertainment artist Jordin Sparks and Kelly Clarkson are behind the studio on there upcoming projects. Jordin Sparks with her 2015 release of "Right Here, Right Now" and Kelly with her 2015 album release also "Piece By Piece". Both American Idol winners, both did Pop songs and both are coming back stronger than Ever. Jordin Sparks havent released new music that actually played on the radio until "Celebrate" back in 2012 and Kelly back in 2013 with "People Like Us". They are glad to be back and with different perspective of things. Jordin fell in love and broke up with Jason Derulo. While Kelly had a beautiful young daughter. Hopefully this will be inspiration behind these artist upcoming albums! Now lets see what they are working on in the booth!
Jordin Sparks is finishing up a vocal rundown on a track called "Flashlights" by hitmaking producer of "Say Yes" and "The Way", Harmony Samuels. Jordin Sparks is currently 25. In many interviews she stated that she wanted to approach the upbeat portion of R&B. Some call it urban but the track Jordin making is a fierce african-esque track. Meanwhile Kelly is about to release "Heartbeat Song" after it leaked on a forum site called "ATRL" the song already got some radio play but not officially until Genesis Entertainment release it. The 32 year old singer is working in the studio at the moment but she didn't want to reveal the title of the song to us. It is a pure pop jam though!
Sparks recently released a song titled "From A Distance" with some parts written by Kelly Clarkson. The two took advantage of being on the same label together . "From A Distance" is a promotional single for Jordin. Kelly had only wrote some parts but also had connections with Max Martin to help Jordin to produce the song. Jordin officially stated the song wont be on the album but will be an iTunes exclusive for the album. Kelly stated that she recorded something similar to it on her album but more pop. She said the song title was "On A Bright Day" and produced by Max Martin, written by herself and Jordin and this time Max.
People are noticing Kelly isnt receiving that much of the public eye from Genesis Entertainment. She says she isnt ready for the public yet. Clarkson stated that".. Its not my time to shine yet. Let someone else get there time. I'm not agressive when It comes to someone on my label or my friend. Jordin deserves it, she suffered 5 years of hell with RCA!. Let her be". Now Genesis Entertainment is about to get Kelly's ball rolling pretty soon so she can please her fans and she wont suffer the same fate Jordin did while on RCA.
Both artists love their new label. Jordin said the label did amazing when promoting "Double Tap". 'Double Tap' is the first single of Sparks new album. Kelly thoughts on the sound is that "I like this Jordin! New you, being fiesty! Keep it up girl!" she also stated that she would let her daughter listen to it if they came out with a Kidz Bop version.
How come collabs (duets to be specific) have to have 40 different articles? I mean, performing in 40 places is a bit messy you think.
& are we getting double sales? Because what's the point of doing double the difference to only get the same sales as everyone else.
I know you didn't like the idea of 2 artists in a collab doing the same articles with different perspectives, but would we be able to both do the same 20 promotional spots but with completely different articles? As that would mean we still both did 20 articles of our own completely on our own.
I just don't see how 40 different things makes sense. Just for 1 week too.

I just think it's a waste to have the same event be mentioned in both of your articles; it's kind of a waste. It would be the same if I did 2 articles for every thing my artist did.
But since you're now talking about doing completely different articles, that's fine. That wasn't what Lily was talking about to me in private, though, so that's why I said it wasn't a good idea. They don't have to be at 40 different places or 40 different performances. Just do your own promotion like you would even if it wasn't a collaboration. If both artists perform at the same place for one event, then just have either you or the collaborating members write the article; don't write two articles about the same specific event because then it's just a waste and won't contribute to anything.
And I can't tell you about the the amount sales yet because a certain PAST HOST OF THIS SEASON has yet to send me the base formula that he was working with.
I don't want to use a completely different formula mid-season because that would be messy, so I'm waiting to receive the old one and make some changes to it.
They don't have to be at 40 different places or 40 different performances.

So they do have to be 40 different things? I'm confused.

I don't understand why it's confusing.
Your promo ideas should be separate from each other. So, essentially, yes, 40 different things.
I don't know what formula Egle had for collabs, but they'll be riskier here. Imagine the total you get from all 40 articles will be divided in two, but then I'll add the collab bonus to it (Yes-- there will be a collab bonus).
Wait, I realize that was kind of confusing wording on my part. Sorry, my bad. Lemme continue:

That's what I meant-- posting two articles for the same event, just a switch on the perspective. It's a waste, because you each have the opportunity to do 20 promo events each.
Even if you each do your own articles for one performance/interview that is shared, it's only going to count as one event, because that's what it was-- just one event.
You can have the two artists perform together or have an interview together, but you should have one or the other post it and only take up one article with it. Like, Eric, you could post a performance with both Taylor & Justin performing, then Lily could post an interview with responses from both Taylor & Justin. But do not have Lily post what Taylor did during the performance and then you post what Eric did as two separate articles.
Just an idea, you don't have to do everything together. Like when Jessie was promoting Bang Bang she didn't always have Ariana and Nicki with her, same with Ariana when she performed Problem/Break Free/Bang Bang on X Factor Australia without Iggy, Zedd, Jessie or Nicki.

This, too.
I don't expect all events to be with both artists together, but when they are together, only write one article for it.
Not Justin & Taylor promoting a song they sing on together WITHOUT one another. An unrealistic mess. Especially, first week. But I guess that's the point of this game anyway. Unrealism and bitter ass punk bitches.
Am still getting a hang of things and all since I wasn't expecting to host until about 12 hours ago when Egle informed me that I was chosen, but I think I'm going to implement a 3-strikes rule or some sort of thing when ti comes to this drama.
Each strike MIGHT result in a short threadban or some sort, but don't hold me to that. Or any of this. When I get into the full swing of things, it'll all be sorted out.

Unrealistic? What world do you live in sis?
You're in charge of a label. Sometimes things can't work out between two people. Schedules clash and that ****. It's your job to deal with it.
