Promo Spot: The X Factor UK

Bonnie's first promo stop in the UK is at The X Factor UK.
"...and here to perform her brand new single "Smile", Bonnie McKee." Dermot introduces.
*a presentation plays showing Bonnie's achievements and #1 penned singles in the UK*
Bonnie begins her performance alone on the piano by herself, where she plays the melody of the track and sings the chorus, just her voice and the piano. After the opening chorus, the beat kicks in Bonnie gets up and the piano is moved off stage and Bonnie's dancers appear.
With great enthusiasm Bonnie manages to make her way around the stage to sing to fans in the audience, and even gives a quick shoutout to the UK. In the background, footage from Bonnie's time in Africa is playing on the big screens, showing the sick children smiling with Bonnie.
By the time the second chorus kicks in, Bonnie and her dancers are in full force carrying out the choreography from the music video. The audience response is fantastic, and all of the judges are smiling and enjoying the performance.
When the bridge comes, the lights dim and everything goes back to being focussed on just Bonnie's vocals, before exploding into the final chorus where confetti falls from the ceiling, and strobe lights flash as Bonnie and her dancers perform the video's choreography again.
Once the performance is over, everyone cheers, and all of the judges stand up and applaud.
"Bonnie McKee, everyone! What a performance. That was fantastic!" Dermot proclaims.
"Thank you, it's such an honour being here and performing for you all," Bonnie manages.
"Make sure to buy Bonnie's latest single "Smile" on iTunes and in stores now!" Dermot finishes, as Bonnie is ushered off stage.

'Bullets on My Floor (Feat. Lana Del Rey)' Music Video released

'Bullets on My Floor' which is a collaboration between Kanye West, Jay-Z & Lana Del Rey isn't a single or anything but they still filmed and released a simple music video for it to promote the album 'Count The Kills' on which it's featured and push it's sales.
The Music video starts by showing Lana Del Rey singing softly the lyrics of the song. The camera zooms out and we can see her sitting in a mostly dark and beautiful gown (Custom Made by Valentino). She is sitting on a swing inside of a old house made out of wood, in the middle of a forest, and while she keeps on singing softly, the camera shws us the view, the house and we can see that it's on top of some sort of moutain. Dark purple flowers are growing everywhere and she keeps on singing. Kanye suddenly appears lllinside the shouse and start rapping his verses. Jay-Z comes in aswell and starts rapping.
The music video is dark and cinematic and reminded the fans of lana del rey's own music videos. The video is now on Vevo.

Promo Spot: The Graham Norton Show

Bonnie McKee joins Emma Watson and Bradley Cooper for an interview and performance on The Graham Norton show.
*after talking extensively to Emma and Bradley*
GN: Speaking of being hard at work, I hear you're working hard of some new music, is that correct Bonnie?
BM: I'm always working on music. Always. Not a day goes by that I don't get inspired.
GN: What I mean is, will you be releasing something soon?
BM: Yes, yes. Actually, my EP 'Young Love' will be released here in the UK next week!
GN: Well that must be exciting for you! Will there be an album to follow the EP?
BM: Oh, for sure, definitely, but I'm just concentrating on the EP at the moment. Taking things one step at a time.
BC: What, do you expect her to have a new record out every week?
*the audience laughs*
GN: I just want to know everything! Can you tell us a bit about the EP, Bonnie?
BM: Well, it's called 'Young Love', and it has seven tracks. It was originally supposed to have six, but I just couldn't decide which track to take off, and thankfully my new label were willing to diverge from the original plan.
GN: Just on that, you did have quite a big label chance recently. How has that been for you?
BM: It's been excellent, really. My new label are so supportive of me and what I do and they're just as eager to get my music out there as I am, I could't be happier, honestly.
GN: Now, the new single is called "Smile", why did you choose this track to represent the new record?
BM: "Smile" was just one of those tracks that I knew was going to be a single when writing it. It was just this hit that I knew I was onto. It was like it was already on the radios before I had finished it! It's really hard to explain. But when I played it for my team, they all agreed that it should be the lead single. It's just such a positive song, and really represents the happy feeling you get from young love, which is the name of the EP.
EW: I love that song! But I must admit... I had no idea it was by you. *blushes*
*the audience laughs*
BM: That's alright, it wouldn't be the first time that a song I wrote wasn't recognised as mine. *looks away slyly*
GN: Speaking of "Smile", Bonnie, you're here to perform it for us tonight, correct?
BM: It would be a pleasure.
*Bonnie goes to the stage and sits behind the piano, where she begins by performing an acoustic rendition of "Smile", before the beat kicks in and she performs the rest of the song dancing*
GN: That was fantastic! Bonnie McKee's new single "Smile" is on iTunes and in stores now, and make sure to keep an eye out for Bonnie's upcoming EP, 'Young Love'! Thank you, Bonnie!

KELLY CLARKSON PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE POP GIRLS
PROMOTES YOU DON'T NEED ME

Kelly Clarkson is out there heavily promoting her new single, “You Don’t Need Me” but that hasn’t stopped her from agreeing to do a tribute concert to the legends of pop. Unfortunately, due to airtime constraints not all the pop girls are featured.
Opening the show, Kelly began the even with a stirring cover of Vibes by Azealia Banks. A major fan, Kelly slowed down the song and delivered a chilling vocal performance. The live audience of 25,000 applauded the singer.
“Thank you.” Kelly smiled and waved to her fans. “As you all know my new album, Dark Hearse comes out next week and my latest single, “You Don’t Need Me” is storming the charts. When NBC asked me to do a celebratory concert I was actually very honored. Yes, there will be shameless promo for me over the next two hours, but I want to pay some respect to some women who have earned it.”
With that, the live band behind her started to give a heated rendition of Deranged by Britney Spears. Kelly delivered a heart pumping performance and did her best to keep up to the skillful dancing that Britney gave, but ultimately threw up her hands and just delivered the song instead.
As soon as the last note hit, Kelly grabbed a guitar and did an acoustic performance of Kylie’s “Circles” with such genuineness in her voice that the crowd instinctively began to sway as the singer delivered a loving performance.
“I feel like I am riding in the back of a Dark Hearse. Do you guys want to see me go psycho on stage?” Kelly screamed. “Let’s do this and make sure you are downloading your copy of, You Don’t Need Me! Let’s get that song to the #1 spot on the charts!”
The crowd applauded the singer who did a mash up of Psycho by Taylor Swift and Paige Elliot with On Hold by Beyonce, Jay Z and Kanye. When the song was finished, Kelly gave a powerful rendition of Libidinous Dream by Mariah Carey and then slowed things down again for a cover of Smile by Bonnie McKee.
“Don’t forget, my latest single is called You Don’t Need Me and it will be followed by my new album Dark Hearse next week.”
Kelly then dove into Heartbreak Inn by Ariana, Champagne Glasses by Lana Del Rey and Fire by Brandy. Then slowing things down once again, she did a unique cover of Hearts ad Daggers by Foxes.
“There are so many great songs on the charts right now.” Kelly shouted. “But I only have time for three more songs and then a surprise song to end the night. Don’t forget to buy your copy of You Don’t Need me on iTunes guys!”
With that, Kelly dove into Nighthawks by Christina, followed by Baby Girl by Katy Perry and finally Beautiful Mess by Kesha Rose.
“This night has been intense,” Kelly laughed. “If I didn’t cover your song, it doesn’t mean I don’t adore you. If just means I ran out of time.”
With that, Kelly went on to do a hard rock cover of her own single, “You Don’t Need Me” To which the crowd got to their feet and danced hard.
Overall, the event proved to be massive for the singer. 14 million viewers tuned in with a 3.1 rating. Stay tuned for more Kelly Clarkson news and make sure you download her latest single, “You Don’t Need Me” on iTunes.
