Suffice it to say the neckbeards AREN'T here for Lightning (even tho she shares all the same qualities as the male FF protagonists they worship)

The critics cant handle a strong female. They prefer a weak or helpless girl. That's why Queen Lara is always bashed while games like the Last of Us are hailed aka the strong male protagonist leading the weak little girl to safety.

Jesus. The critics are LASHING Lightning Returns. I mean, I'll still play it and everything (when I finish the first two, of course), but damn. I wasn't expecting this.
I don't need a reviewer to tell me what the game is about when I played it myself. ellie remains the precious cargo and cute little girl while Joel is her savior as most men would prefer.
