Longevity is something we also know and stan for. DIL opens with 300K and end selling 4.8M in the US.
B'day opened with 540K and sold 3.2M. IASF opened with 480K and sold over 3M copies. "4" opened with 310K and end up selling ~1.4M with no pop hit to sustain it and a very alienating lead.

Well she is still perched at #1 in 100+ countries, in 4 days the album will be available for physical purchase in which she sells 60% more than digital and not to mention OX is going to radio tomorrow which will probably smash + the quality of this album is out of this world so i think she doesn't have to worry about longevity at all

The album will pull well over what it sold last week this week. That'll put it well past Platinum by the end of the year and there's no doubt in my mind it'll be at least double Platinum by April.

It can drop off the face of the Earth after that. Double Platinum is as high as most artists can go now [unless you're Eminem].

A strategy that might have worked.. Started with an iTunes exclusive on Monday. And then on thursday announce that surprise, physicals are on sale now too! I think she could have done it then, with no leaks of course.

It might have IF...she got that magical way to get song played 50 times an hour MAGICALLY the week of it debut...like XO or Blow or Drunk in love would have smashe and it would have been release in tuesday...she would have destroyed the record...but is better like this...OH killen them softy....Xo
