I don't blame Kelly for not repeating the success of Breakaway. No one could repeat the success of an era that huge. My December deserved a lot more success than it got, I think it includes some of her finest work & I liked how it wasn't as manufactured as her follow-up. All I Ever Wanted was a good album but I admit I wasn't amazed by it like I was the previous two albums.
I'm still a big fan of hers so I want her to do well. I will consider buying her fifth album for sure, but I think Mr. Know It All isn't going to set up her new era very well, especially at the current falling state it is in. Is this iheartradio event being televised? Nearly everyone is performing, & so MkIA wouldn't be the only song increasing. I don't know how much the video would help. MVs aren't garaunteed to help a song rebound. It depends, & always varies. Unless Kelly is like P!nk whose songs sales nearly double after videos.
And it's doing good on radio but I do think when sales falter radio responds to that.
