Saw an extended promo while watching MTV today. Obviously we know a lot will take place at the carnival next week, but at the end of the promo I saw,
they apparently have the "killer" on the ground, and are about to take his mask off[. My feeling is that it's not going to actually be the "killer" but someone dressed up like him

This episode was great!
Eli is so cute and Emma better ride on his wave as Kieran is a bland piece of **** tbh!
The small chase scene and Ms Lang fighting back !
Branson got tortured so much omg

This episode was alright imo, hopefully something actually surprising and shocking happens soon. I know the entire cast is kinda meh at acting but the one who does Brooke just makes me cringe so much at times...

OK how good is this season? much better than the first yay.
more chase scenes please.
i think there are two killers and they are
kieran and eli. they are playing with her. billy and stu. and they will kill each other cause they are both jealous about emma in the end.

Watching the first season for the second time and it's so good and a underrated show
better than slasher.

General, spoiler-free thoughts about next week's episode:
I enjoyed this episode, too! It has some nice elements of suspense and one particularly emotional scene that I thought was great. Though it once again doesn't completely take advantage of the carnival, I did like the setting/pageant for this episode quite a bit. Overall, this episode definitely continues to move the story along in a good and exciting way.
And a very
spoiler-filled
breakdown of the episode:
-The episode opens with Audrey waking up to messages written in blood on her ceiling and mirror, taunts from the killer.
-Ms. Lang is not in the episode, but it is hinted that she is recovering, with people debating whether she fell or she was thrown.
-Emma finds out from the sheriff that Eli had a restraining order put on him by a girl in the place where he used to live, supposedly because he snuck into her home.
-The sheriff listens to the tapes from Ms. Lang's desk and hears a very suspicious conversation between her and Stavo in which he is attempting to explain to her what inspired his bloody comic book drawings.
-The sheriff confronts Stavo, who denies that he is a killer.
-The bodies in the bath tub from the previous episode are revealed to be Mr. Branson and the front desk guy from the motel. They are in fact very dead, burnt to a crisp.
-After Maggie reveals the identities of the bodies, the sheriff notices Branson's corpse is missing a hand and it moves him to look at a photo Stavo drew of Mr. Branson tied up to the bed at the motel.
-Brooke makes an effort to have Zoe win the Lakewood pageant and in the process of preparing for it, they both start drinking. Brooke gets drunk and decides to basically tank her planned speech.
-Brooke has a wonderful little monologue during the pageant. It is actually very emotional, and one of Carlson's best scenes on the show to date.
-Audrey decides to tell Emma about her connection with Piper. When she hears about Eli's previous charge, however, she decides to spin things to make him look suspicious.
-The killer kidnaps Kieran and lures Emma into the funhouse to save him.
-There is an extended cat-and-mouse style scene in which Emma is going through the funhouse trying to find Kieran. A police office comes in after her, but he is stabbed by the killer.
-Emma grabs the gun from the cop and attempts to shoot who she believes to be the killer, but it is a reflection in a funhouse mirror. She is rescued, and someone in the killer's outfit stumbles out; it is revealed to be Kieran with a knife tied to his hand and tape over his mouth.
-Noah and Zoe attempt to get it on once again, but Audrey calls Noah and interrupts them once again.
-Audrey heads to Emma's house to finally tell her about everything, but the episode ends with her walking in on Emma listening to the audio recording, presumably sent to her by Zoe.
-The preview for episode features Ms. Lang in the hospital, Audrey confronting Noah about recording their conversation, and features a party in a large warehouse that I believe is thrown by that bitch Haley
And in response to your questions, Jake:
Ms. Lang is not in the episode (she is recovering in the hospital, as is shown in the preview for the next episode), a police officer is stabbed and possibly killed in the funhouse (it isn't made entirely clear), and there is not a normal chase scene, per se, but there is an extended cat-and-mouse scene with Emma and the killer in the funhouse.
So what was the killer scene Emma had at the carnival shown in the trailer?
Is it a prank or the killer or a hallucination?

Who has gotten into the new mask? I love it now.
I used to want the original ghostface, but I really love the new one now.
