Sales are weak right now and so is the rest of the top 10, so almost any new release will rise to the top 5.
Maybe I will change my tune in a week... or maybe not.

L.A. Love was better hyped yet only peaked at #37 in Itunes when sales was slightly better in 2014.
MILF $, which ATRL deemed as the worse song of the two reached #13 before the video...
 but ok?

In a week it's obviously freefalling..because theres no radio add dates..as opposed to L.A Love which was sent to adds by Interescope
#2 peak just justified that the US GP is here for Fergie.
In b4 ATRLERs make threads such as "Fergie flopping. Why?"

Sia is coming for #1
This is quite the turnaround, after months of struggle.

Yeah, we get it. The song is #2, but it sounds like a song she did in 2007 during the Myspace era, back when Fergie was last relevant. The song sucks.

Poor boo, it's ok mommy Ferg is here

It's iTunes position doesn't matter, 'cause let's be real, if radio doesn't jump on the song it's gonna be at like #70 a week later just like all of Gwen, Mariah, J. LO, and etc's comeback singles. I'd be wishing for good radio updates over good iTunes updates.
And the song isn't good at all, so it's quality definitely won't be able to keep it going for long.

Yeah, I find it unlikely that radio will support this. It's too abrasive and dated.
Keep in mind that Used to Love You was basically the most successful solo song on radio for a woman over 40 in years. After that, maybe First Love by JLo? Neither song did very well overall though.
I don't even know what formats would play this besides pop. It wouldn't fit on HAC/AC (which are the best bet for "older" women) and I don't think urban or rhythmic will care about it either.

Let me jump in and say that a song doesn't have to be good to get airplay, it has to be catchy.
What Fergie needs to do is send this thing to radio asap.
A little payola never killed nobody.

L.A Love alone outsold all Gwen & J.Lo's solo comeback efforts combined.
We'll see how MILF $ fares
When ATRL hates a song, its usually different for the GP

Mariah, JLo, Gwen all release aged bland tracks that don't fit in with the current musical era.
MILF $ is hip, has a cool video and is incredibly catchy. I think it'll be different.

MTE. She will be fine once she starts promoting.
That happened back then when she released L.A. Love.

I really don't see the point of discussing the song's future just yet. The video could very well carry it. No radio play could kill it. Either way, she's doing far better than anyone originally expected - hence the bringing her down rn.
She's far more marketable than the other older girls, though. LALOVE responded well to its video and AMAs performance, and she has plenty of hype by the media. Mariah/Gwen/Jen rarely get that much attention, though Mimi could've gotten a bigger hit out of Beautiful had she not botched everything with the promo.

Milf Money IS generic. Everything about it starting with the structure (chorus, verse, chorus, verse, bridge, outro)
The production is the generic twerk club beat they play everywhere. The "oh oh oh" towards the end are a generic trick used in many songs.
You can't deny that the song is generic. However, the song is a giant bop and deserves to smash. Generic is not a bad word even tho ATRL uses it to drag. Then again ATRL can't drag so....
Many generic songs slay and many non-generic songs suck ass.

This is actually high for only 15M airplay. If radio gives it a proper shot, like 50M airplay, it will blow up

92. Hymn For The Weekend
Not a 40+ jump since Friday
This song has so much potential, it just needs a chance
Edit: 2nd version jumped to 343
