The last thing I heard from Sam was his Christmas cover, and I was slayed. I listened to his album a while ago, but I don't remember any of the songs. I think I just played Lay Me Down on repeat and called it a day.

Everything kinda blurred together except for Restart which I noticed cause it had a pulse at least.

But I do like that Christmas cover a bit, it's pleasant.

Sam has potential to do a lot with his music. He's not just a MOR singer. "Latch," "Money on My Mind," "La La La" and the Nirvana EP, which basically taps into the sound Frank Ocean and others have done, shows that he can switch it up and appeal to various audiences. He can definitely get better with time.

Let's be honest, who thought Beyonce would release her album at the quality that it was? Outside of B'Day and 4, and her singles, her music was always middle-of-the-road, especially I Am...Sasha Fierce. And even B'Day and 4 aren't the best R&B/soul albums of all-time.

I kind of hate that "I"m Not The Only One" was the 2nd single, though. It was one of my favorite songs on the album, now it's overplayed. I can barely even listen to it anymore.
