Wow. Guess there must be virtually zero good vocalists in the world then.
All I'm saying is that in order to be a singer you should be able to go out on the stage and sing the damn song without missing 90% of the notes. It doesn't have to be vocally impressive, you don't need to belt for a minute and a half, but you need to sing YOUR OWN song that was made FOR YOU.
There are plenty of people who can do that. It's just that with the increase of talentless pop stars coming into the industry people lower their standards.

Well I meant mostly when they're standing still or sitting down or something, if it's a dance routine, some backup vocals are understandable.
