I don't even know what to say at this point. I want to root for that side so hard because they're the "good guys" but sometimes they really make it hard with their strategies. Like why get rid of someone who's on your side, no matter what they're doing? As long as it doesn't involve you then it shouldn't matter that much.

James, Meg and to a lesser extent Jackie are actually thinking by not just going along with Becky.
Becky has been floating to power. One would have to be blind to not see Becky and Johnny Mac's not so secret admiration for Shellie and the now departed Clay. Becky is not with James and Meg in particular, and not really with Jackie either. She is with Johnny Mac. She, along with Johnny Mac, hopes that Shelli and Steve are with their group. Shelli gives rat-floaters Johnny Mac and Becky the possibility of Austwins on their side for a while. Becky's current USING JJM for numbers this week.
Shelli would target James, Meg and Jackie first.
Vanessa has Austwins but JJM can clearly see that this is an alliance that won't even campaign for their leader. They're unaware about Steve's attachment to her but even if they knew Shelli is surrounded by 6 people willing to protect her to some degree (JM, Becky, Austwins and Steve), while Vanessa is surrounded by 4 maximum (Austwins, Steve).
Vanessa will without question target Becky and JM.
The smart decision is for JJM to target Shelli first.
James, Meg and Jackie are now angry Becky was so selfish to do what she wanted this week and get Vanessa on the block instead of Shelli (???)

Becky is with Johnny Mac and Steve is JM's male side-piece, like Shelli is Becky's female side-piece. I know Steve hates Becky, but I've never gotten the impression that the feeling was all that mutual.
Vanessa is crazy in terms of the BB game but I want her to make it through this one eviction because she's sacrificed for her alliance. She caved in to Shelli's craziness in what should have been Austin's eviction week - this included Shelli initially wanting to put Austin up and then Shelli convincing Vanessa not to because Austin was one of the only people rooting for Clay during the PoV competition. Shelli's "clap for my boy" mood swing hurt the alliance bad. Then Vanessa hurt her game more by campaigning for Shelli so hard last week. Then this week, Becky drags Vanessa hard because of her own hard on for Shelli. Vanessa deserves to at least outlast Shelli (outlasting Austwins is not likely), IMO.

I spoke briefly to Julie Chen this evening at CBS’ TCA event for journalists, and she told me that the twist was axed because there were more interesting things happening, including the twin twist.
