This is just a question, not an impression of mine or anything, but did anyone see Kelly being drunk at her shows? I saw people talking about it on other boards and unfortunately they talk a lot of bs and are beyond delusioned but I just wanted to know if anyone else had the impression?

I mean I know she may have a glass or wine or something. And sometimes fans bring Chivas to do a shot with her lol. I think that is it though.
I mean, of course she drinks, who doesn't? It could be seen in those backstage pictures. But the people on that other board were acting like she gets wasted everynight and had some serious drinking problem and that got me worried but I couldn't really imagine Kelly doing that and so I just asked. But they were obviously exaggerating again.
Kelly's back in Texas, and this time she meets Donny Osmond. Terrific. At least she doesn't have to worry about him hitting on her. Kelly visits a radio show as well, and we see that the studio has windows so people can look in from outside. Is this really necessary? Hasn't this idea been ripped off from "The Today Show" enough by now? Are people really interested in seeing folks with "faces for radio" standing at microphones? Are we this bored? Well, are we?!?
Kelly's high school holds a pep rally - beat Atherton! - for Kelly. But no river swimming this time. Also, we get the first glimpse of Kelly's parents.
Ms. Clarkson has undergone another makeover tonight. I'm not sold on the chocolate and vanilla hair, but she looks dang cute tonight. I didn't get a makeover, but I look dang cute too. Kelly's song is "Think Twice." Can we get some slow dancing from the kids in the crowd? Girls, hands on the guys' shoulders. Guys, hands on the girls' hips. Leave enough room between you to let some light through, then gently sway back and forth.
Kelly (Eeeeeeee!) hits The Octagon to sing Celine Dion's "Think Twice." I'm very disappointed to see that Kelly has gotten her hair styled into an out-of-date Rachel cut with even more blonde highlights. I imagine, given the comments that have been made in the media about Kelly's weight, that somebody played on her esteem issues and made her think it would make her face look thinner. It does, but it also makes her look so blah. It's like the same thing that happened to Tamyra. Damn the Hollywood style machine! Damn it! She's also wearing a black dress with brown patterns on it that isn't quite as ugly as it sounds.
"Think Twice" is a lesser-known Celine song, and that's probably for a reason. It's a little low-key and has a country twang to it. Or at least, that's how Kelly (Eeeeeeee!) is singing it. The belting starts up about halfway through the song. And there's belting. Lots of belting. For some variety, there's…nothing. It's just more belting. Her voice is strong and note-perfect, but I'm starting to get really tired of the belting. There's a law of diminishing returns that happens with performers who wail out songs. In order to prevent the performances from becoming stale, a belter really has to out-sing her own previous performances, holding notes higher and longer each time. Eventually, Celine Dion is going to perform a song that consists of her singing a note that only bats can hear and holding it for three minutes. I don't think that Kelly (Eeeeeeee!) is aware of how popular her rendition of "Stuff Like That There" was. It had some belting in it, but also had a ton of personality and showed that she was more than just a girl who could sing really high notes really well. But other than that song, she's been more about belts than one of those little accessory stores at the mall. Anyway, the audience loves it and gives her a standing ovation. http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com...arm.php?page=5

Kelly Clarkson, "Think Twice" - I think Kelly should have thought twice about this Celine Dion dirge, but Kelly, being Kelly, performed out of her pumps. I don't think she knows how to sing badly. She had a few little kinks in the performance, but nothing to reduce the value of it overall. This is one singing chick.

Anyway, Kelly's up. She sings, "Think Twice." The song isn't fantastic, but she absolutely is. Nothing we don't expect from our little Kelly. And when she's done, she beams like a six-year-old who was just upgraded to the 64-color box of crayons from that rotten ol' 12-color box. She's the epitome of cuteness (as David noted in a previous article) without a trace of ****iness. She's the first great performer I've ever seen who I actually can envision maintaining her humility.

What the critics thought:

Now, Kelly will be singing "Without You." You mean the power ballad by Motley Crue? "Without you, in my life, all I have is hepatitis!" I hope next week Kelly does "Cherry Pie."
Am I at the dentist right now? Slow song, but still a great performance. Even with Kelly holding her side like she has a cramp from running. Should we even bother with the last two shows? They'll basically be Kelly's victory lap. And remember, when I forecast something, it happens! Right after her song ends, Kelly intensely stares dead ahead, then breaks out of her trance and smiles. That's kinda weird. And creepy. Like she transforms herself from song Kelly to normal Kelly. http://www.americanidol.com/archive/...1/20020827.php

Kelly (Eeeeeeee!) heads out to The Octagon in a pretty red ****tail gown. She sounds terribly hoarse and flat at the beginning of the song, and I start to worry, but she pulls herself into belting mode by the time she gets to the first chorus. And then it's the Kelly (Eeeeeeee!) Channel: All belting, all the time. I don't know what to say anymore. I thought I'd never get tired of Kelly's singing, but I think I am. A couple of the notes, even though they weren't necessarily the wrong notes, made my ears hurt. The audience loves it, though, and gives her a standing ovation. http://www.televisionwithoutpity.com...arm.php?page=8

Kelly Clarkson, "Without You" - Kelly was given the most difficult song to sing. Kelly could belt this song out in her sleep, but her biggest challenge was to keep from falling into the Mariah Carey signatures. She did, pretty much. Her vocals met every climb in pitch, and she really felt what she was singing. Our Kelly has had some heartbreak, for sure. There was huge glitch in the middle, but again, she knows how to make you forget about it. I think there is a competitor in Kelly that wants to beat Justin. She did in the second round.

Kelly comes back and sings, "Without You." She has some tiny, barely noticeable glitches in her voice - you can hear the exhaustion - but she still delivers an incredible performance and adds her own flair to it. That's not easy to do on a song that's been commercially recorded by three (maybe even four) different vocalists.
